I have two side projects I’ve been working on getting release ready. Needing to take my own advice and remind myself not to wait until they’re perfect, but allow them to exist as MVPs that get improved over time. Also forcing myself to only work on them during weekends. Balance!

All four app updates got approved. Cannoisseur, Legal Terms, ShinyDex all got (very late) Liquid Glass updates. Vinyl Vision got a bug fix. Next, I’m going to try adding some simple App Intents into Legal Terms. It also needs a lot of accessibility work.

My biggest focuses these past few quiet months have been figuring out to be useful at my job, and learning all I can about optimizing SwiftUI code for accessibility tools. For those of you who have been doing this work for a while, how do you feel about the IAAP certs?

Pushed out some long overdue updates for four apps this weekend and it felt *great*. Believe all the things they say about rest! Everything is still in review but hopefully these approvals are smooth.

Been completely off socials for several months. It’s been even longer since I used this account. I missed y’all 🥹. Trying to slowly make my way back into the fold. So many updates on the way. Keep an eye out for that. Would love to hear how y’all have been!

I found documentation for sharing CoreData objects between multiple iCloud users, but does this exist for SwiftData objects yet?

Building this app has been a journey. Balancing work and going indie, I’ve rewritten it four times to control its scope. I think I’ve finally reached a good stopping point—for now. Materia AR is now in the App Store #buildinpublic

Guys, I've been invited to the @WVFRM podcast where I had a great chat about developing for the #VisionPro! If you're even remotely interested in #visionOS, don't miss this great episode – I've really enjoyed it a lot. So grateful for the invitation! 🙏 #SwiftUI #iOSDev

Very cool to see @Jeehut on Waveform today! Having just released another native visionOS app a couple weeks ago, it’s cool to see Vision Pro conversations still happening.

I’m not going to finish school in time to step into the full-time role I earned, so I’m back on the market looking for a full-time role. Preferably iOS, but I’ll have worked 10 months in Java & Spring Reactive by the end of my internship. DM me if you have leads 🙏🏾
