So these 3 are basically tee ins at this point. We know the game will have 3 (+1(x)) routes So then why did I say chapters 1-4? Chapter 4 is the center point of the story. If Deltarune was a black hole, chapter 4 would be the singularity. Deltarune a Storm, Chapter 4 the eye

reading this made me realize the average player feels LESS and LESS in control of the narrative through each progressive chapter. it narratively feels like going deeper into the dark forest.

i think if deltarune is interested in examining player-game relationships it makes sense there's a feeling of back and forth between which of the two has the "upper hand," in such a way undertale genocide even tried to do with its ending

i get ppl disliking narrative knowledge being the resource of choice that the game's writing holds close to its chest, but you know what they say, knowledge is power…the more you know, the more you realize you don't know…the frog in the well, et cetera ad infinitum

in all my years i've always heard this track as heartbeats... never seen anyone interpret this noise in this track as footsteps especially when the main liminal sfx (as in the one that transitions us in and out of the game) is a heartbeat...

this reminds me of the action button video on Tokimeki Memorial tbh which also has a similar conclusion, i.e. the idea of Gamifying "Love" and people when in the framework of an actual video game
