Wrong on both counts. The Scottish Budget goes up next year and carbon capture continues to receive government backing.
Stop this desperate search for the next grievance and get on with governing. There's a better Scotland to be won if leaders work together.
Replying to @JohnSwinney
The Budget also betrays carbon capture in Scotland, and will cut the Scottish Government's budget by around £650 million next year.
Yet again, Scotland has been treated as an afterthought.

Glad to see the Scottish Government replicating Labour's £100 help with bills.
Disappointing the SNP continue to misrepresent Labour's position on energy bills, not least given new support confirmed today.
It's dishonest. It's trivial. It should be beneath the First Minister.
Devolution was never meant to stop at Holyrood.
The PM is right to offer to work with the Scottish Government to push power out into Scotland’s regions.
That must include the Highlands and Islands where we have felt the impact of SNP centralisation over the last two decades.
"My message to John is simple, I want to push economic power out into the regions of Scotland, do you?"

Around 20% of the current north Highland economy is supported by the nuclear industry and close to one in four jobs.
The Highland Council has a pro new nuclear policy.
Pretending otherwise whitewashes 70 years of proud nuclear research, development, and generation in Highland.
Replying to @AndrewBowie_MP
You Unionists are a pain the neck. Scotland doesn't have a proud history of nuclear power. It has a history of having nuclear power forced on it to feed rUK without Scotland getting any industrial benefit. Never again.

Alexander Dennis, Monklands Hospital, ferries - just how many promises did the SNP go into the election on 7th May with no intention of keeping?
A powerful first speech to @UKLabour conference from new @ScottishLabour leader Michael Marra.

Today the Scottish Parliament backed Labour’s motion recommitting to legal targets on child poverty.
All parties should now get round the table and agree a package of measures to hit those targets.

New Scottish Labour Leader
Important that the First Minister today clarified that his Government has no intention of amending Section 16 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981) to remove the power to grant licences for the taking of gannets from Sula Sgeir.

@donaldlabour has defended the Guga Hunt, saying the campaign to ban it has been "deeply distressing" for the people of Ness who have been othered and portrayed as backwards.
More on this to come in @TheScotsman 👇
I spoke at the petitions committee today against the petition to end the guga hunt. I am disappointed that the committee took the decision to keep the petition open. It is now vital that the committee visits Ness and hears from the affected community.

Yesterday John Swinney boasted about his Government's delivery in the Highlands and Islands.
So let's take a look.
Economic growth in our islands relies on an effective ferry service.
I highlighted the significant disruption on the Sound of Harris route in parliament today.
Remember the £10 million fund John Swinney promised island businesses?
Turns out it was just another election gimmick.
A tantalising glimpse of Stornoway from the Loganair flight this morning. Unfortunately high winds prevented landing so back to Edinburgh it is.
Will try again tomorrow!
