I have been in Lagos for over a week. Lagos is the commercial capital of Nigeria. Lagos is the richest state in Nigeria. Lagos is the most cosmopolitan state in Nigeria. Most things start in Lagos and then trickle down to other states.
If the power supply is this bad in Lagos, how then is it in other states? There has been no light since last night. I pay a lot in taxes in this country only to face a challenge that most countries solved decades or even centuries ago.
Why are Nigerians behaving as if it is okay not to have a steady power supply in 2026? It seems that most Nigerians have a cultural tendency to tolerate discomfort. That is why we are where we are.
