This paper will be helpful for researchers looking to best use H9c2 cells - an accessible cell-line model for cardiomyoblast and/or cardiomyocyte biology in developmental and disease contexts. We are already getting feedback this work is appreciated by the research community!
Huge congrats to @nicoleyorkova, @rahmani_manesh, @LeighWicki and all the co-authors (including key collaborator Dr. Laura Arbour), and big thanks to @CIHR_IRSC for the funding!
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to @uOttawaBMRI yesterday to give a talk in the Neuroscience Seminar Series & the many stimulating discussions with the dynamic faculty and students. Huge thank you to my fabulous host @JahaniArezu! 🙏

This work was done in collaboration with Darwyn Kobasa’s (@GovCanHealth @umanitoba) & Marie-Ève Tremblay’s (@LaboTremblay @uvic) groups and was led by former #SwayneLab MSc student @rahmani_manesh (defended in Dec 2024), and current Research Associate @LeighWicki
Shout out to @nicoleyorkova, @RVendramelli, @haleyv, and all the co-authors for their key contributions, and big thanks for funding from @CIHR_IRSC and @uvic
