I'm sorry but I completely understand why Ethan did what he did. I would do anything for a slightly androgynous jewish woman

Matt Walsh's inability to see the sovl present in the writing is why every Daily Wire production gets consigned to oblivion a month after its release

The difference between you and I is I did not live in a bubble with a bunch of other nerds. Instead, I lived with a fairly normal family filled with well-rounded individuals.
None of them hated the prequels. They either didn’t care or liked them.
THAT was the general opinion.

So you weren’t around for the sentiment, but you have a better read on the sentiment than the people who were actually there?
I can’t tell if you’re trolling.

The Star Wars Prequels are hated by the midwits, because there's nothing in them for the midwits.
If you're smart the politics make sense and the psychosexual story about awkward issolated prodigies persecuted by their civilization for bizzare hidden reasons is engaging/relatable
If you're dumb the action is really fun.
If you're a midwit you feel dirty like you see how a stupid person could like it, but feel stupid you can't follow the politics, and feel really threatened by the lack of moral clarity and psychosexual elements.

Prequel-deriders haven't conjured one coherent criticism in 20 years.
Your 'best' arguments come from bozos who don't know the 180-degree rule, don't understand multi-character story arcs, and claim George Lucas failed by not adapting their infantile fan fiction.

Is it okay to think the prequels have any weaknesses at all in your book?
I don’t mind people dogmatically loving them. But perhaps people who are at least somewhat critical also have a role to play.
I fervently love Tolkien, but I don’t mind people criticizing some things.
Have you ever worked a real job? Have you ever been laid off? Have you ever been injured at work?

Arguably the dumbest thing I've read today. Workers risk nothing. They work for a check. If they don't like it, they are free to leave anytime. No one gives a shit if they stay or go because no one relies on them for anything.
I grew up not really understanding why people didn't like them so much, I didn't come to actually love them in the way I do well into adulthood, not when I "rediscovered" them in some nostalgic bullshit, but when I watched them and understood them as an adult
"No one starts a good story in the middle and works their way backwards." Maybe the fact that you don't like them has something to do with your incessant desire to always watch the films in this order for some reason
This is revisionist history.
The prequels are, have always been, and will always be, awful.
From the concept of Midichlorians, to the nonsensical sudden appearance of a clone army using Jango Fett, the clonefather of Boba Fett.
Watching the prequels in conjunction with the original trilogy in chronological order lessens the impact of the infamous "I am your father" scene from Empire.
Prequels, in general, are almost always awful. If that story was worth telling, you would have started there. No one starts a good story in the middle and works their way backwards.
The prequels only look good relative to the absolute crap we've been fed over the last decade, and I refuse to accept them as objectively good.
The prequels are better than LOTR, not by much, but they are.

Not understanding that intention doesn't dictate how another person feels about what you said (even if they are aware of the intention) is the man-brained thing here. Identical to telling a woman that you think her gaining weight makes her look hotter
"a fuedal peasant has more luxuries than an ancient Sumerian king, you have things that would have been unimaginable
Fuedalism has made yesterday's luxuries today's necessities.
And somehow, this extraordinary progress is presented as evidence of failure. Long live the king"
What's considered a minimal quality of life today would have been unimaginable luxury to most people throughout history.
Indoor plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, modern medicine, instant communication, and access to food from around the world.
Much of what ordinary people enjoy today was once unavailable even to the wealthiest.
Capitalism has made yesterday's luxuries today's necessities.
And somehow, this extraordinary progress is presented as evidence of failure.

Culture is a product if material conditions. Capitalism has largely erased culture, not in a deliberate effort as often assumed but because it has erased the necessity of various cultural practices
