Humbled and also slightly embarrassed to be profiled in this way by @nippon_en, but always trying to spread the importance of US-Japan and @japansociety's mission. nippon.com/en/japan-topics/g…

Showing up matters.
30+ engagements. Leaders from around the world. One goal: making sure American business is in the room where global economic decisions are being shaped.
A remarkable first #UNGA81 leading @USChamber International Affairs. 🌎🇺🇸
American business is global — and engaged. 🌐🇺🇸
On the sidelines of #UNGA81, the @USChamber hosted 30+ events, including 11 with Heads of State and government.
Why does showing up matter?

Important timing for today’s Trump–Takaichi meeting in New York: just days after Japan’s cabinet reshuffle and two days before President Trump hosts President Xi in Washington.
It’s a reminder that the U.S.–Japan alliance isn’t simply bilateral. 1/2

Grateful for the kind words & even more for the friendship.
My final appearance as President & CEO of @japansociety was less about looking back & more about celebrating the incredible people &community that make U.S.-Japan so special.
Thank you for being part of the journey🇺🇸🇯🇵
