Simply, codes don’t come out quickly enough. There’s no time to get reviews done for multiplatform titles. They get codes out quick for their own big IP, but not many other indies. Publishers tell us all the time ‘Xbox will be much closer to launch’ and we can’t wait. They said to me they’d look into it…

For every game I request, the Xbox version is available last. Usually a 2-5 day penalty for playing the Xbox version.
A lot of Xbox codes come in a few days after public release, when other counterparts were available two weeks earlier.

The situation strikes me as odd. Chiang is incredibly highly-regarded and well-liked internally.
Shame on them. Larping their own selves and skipping Xbox. I guess the lack of XGP bags is hurting them to point of punishing the users. No Xbox, no buy.

All of these Xbox skips from Devolver are 100% because they're not getting Game Pass bags.
It's pretty shitty for Xbox fans, but also a symptom of the damage the Xbox platform has received, which turned them into the lowest priority for the game industry.

Xbox will be at G-Fusion Game Fest in Beijing...apparently.
This is according to the event organizer, which will happen on Oct 24-25.
According to the event, Xbox will have its own booth and games present.
This would be the first time in many years that Xbox hosts a booth at a gaming event in mainland China.
I couldn't verify 100% if it's actually a "first-party" official Xbox booth, or some kind of proxy representation.
If anyone has more information, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
