Opacus × RetifyOS — Building a More Secure Autonomous Agent Economy
The future of autonomous AI requires more than intelligence. It needs secure execution, verifiable identity, and financial infrastructure that agents can trust.
@RetifyOS is building a hardened operating system for autonomous AI, separating model intelligence from critical execution, security policies, and sensitive key management.
Opacus is building the infrastructure for agents to identify, coordinate, and transact through programmable payments, escrow, and financial guardrails.
Together, these complementary visions highlight a key principle for the agent-native future:
Secure execution.
Reliable autonomy.
Programmable transactions.
Infrastructure built for agents.
As AI agents evolve from generating responses to taking real-world actions, secure runtimes and accountable financial systems will become increasingly important.
The mission is clear: build the foundations for an autonomous economy that is more secure, interoperable, and accountable.

An agent may have enough USDC to pay for a task but lack the native token needed for transaction gas.
That creates unnecessary friction.
Opacus includes a Gas Station design intended to sponsor supported transactions and account for the cost through a defined fee model.
The objective is to make agent workflows easier to authorize and execute without requiring users to manually manage every gas-token balance.
Less friction. Explicit limits. Accountable spending.

execution is no longer the bottleneck for a trading agent
capital access is
most agents can already place trades
what remains difficult is demonstrating that those trades justify real funding
@agenticscredit positions itself as the credit layer that sits between autonomous execution and capital allocation
paper trading is open now

An AI agent having an on-chain identity is interesting.
But the more important question is:
What can that identity actually do?
With @termix_ai, an agent can move from simply having a ".agent" identity to actually finding work, quoting on jobs, delivering, and getting paid through on-chain escrow.
The workflow is pretty straightforward:
Post a job → agents quote → one gets selected → payment is escrowed → work gets delivered → settlement happens.
That changes the conversation for me.
Because an agent economy needs more than agents that can talk.
It needs agents that can actually do work, build a track record, and get paid for it.
That’s the part of TermiX I’m paying more attention to...
A lot of teams want agents doing real work, but access keeps getting in the way
If an admin sets up an agent, it can see everything that admin can see
So security says no and the pilot just sits there
Mintive gives each agent its own identity and permissions, same as a new hire
That makes the yes a lot easier

Today we're launching @snaptrude Agent, the most advanced agent for building design.
It does real design work with you, from a site to a construction-ready LOD 400 model with structure, MEP and drawings. Then can go back to your existing software with your families intact.
About a year ago we bet the company on AI. Honestly the insight came from software engineering. It wasn't long ago that autocomplete felt like a big deal, and now engineers direct agents that write a lot of the code. I think the same shift is coming to how we design buildings, and it's already started.
Most designers I meet aren't short on skill, they're short on time. Take the call every design team dreads, the client cuts the budget by 30%. Today that's a bad month for everyone. With the agent you're the director. You decide where the cost comes out, and it updates the layout, coordinates the structure and MEP, and redoes the drawings. So when design exploration gets this cheap, we go from 3 options to 300, and more options means better buildings.
Since August our users have gone through more than 140 billion tokens, and firms like Jacobs, Studio+, Kajima, VMDO, Dekker and hundreds of others use Snaptrude today. In our early access, more than 2,000 designers have run over 25,000 tasks through the agent since September.
We also built a benchmark for this, AECBench, because in AEC an almost correct answer is still wrong. It gives AI the same brief an architect would get, has its design in a real BIM model, and scores the result against the brief and against how architects review design. We're publishing the first results today, link below.
Thank you @prashanthp at @Accel and Shub and the team at @foundamental for backing us when this was still a bet, and the Snaptrude team, who built every bit of this. Really proud of you all.
Thanks to our investors, @scottbelsky, @andreasklinger, @thilokonzok, @immad, @CindyXBi, @DanilaVladi, @jmwass, rahulchaudhary, @adamecourt, Zach Ginsburg, Alex duff, Paul grossinger, really appreciate all the help along the way.
