20 years ago at around 5:30 am, Anambra lawmakers impeached Peter Obi because he refused to inflate the state budget and share public money with politicians. If you are criticizing this man on the internet I want you to sit down and think about that for a moment. A governor was removed because he refused to spend money recklessly, refused to satisfy political godfathers and refused to turn public funds into a settlement for lawmakers. They accused him of gross misconduct because he drove a Peugeot 406, bought furniture locally and spent far less than the hundreds of millions approved for renovating the Governor's office and Lodge. They thought they could force him out and end his political journey. They were wrong. The courts overturned his impeachment, and the Supreme Court later reaffirmed his right to complete his constitutionally guaranteed tenure. Twenty years have passed, but one thing remains clear, Peter Obi's refusal to share public money with the corrupt political class was enough to make him their sworn enemy. There are very few politicians in Nigeria like Peter Obi and I strongly believe that God has given us another opportunity to get things right in this country. Nigerians, please, do not take this opportunity for granted.

Today, we officially signed a landmark partnership agreement with Sterling Bank! Sterling Bank is committing ₦60 million in prizes for the 2027 South East Mathematics & Science Olympiad. In addition, the bank is committing ₦24 million to our National Mathematics Quiz, where outstanding students will receive ₦1 million in prizes every month. But it gets even better! Our star students will now have access to internship opportunities at Sterling Bank, while winners of the South East Mathematics & Science Olympiad will receive an additional one-year scholarship. What a bank! What a commitment to the future of Nigerian children! We will continue to double down on our efforts to build the greatest workforce in Africa by 2036. We are deliberately investing in the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers. And I have just one request for everyone reading this: Open an account with Sterling Bank. Encourage your family members, friends, and colleagues to bank with Sterling. When a bank makes this level of commitment to the education and future of our children, it deserves our support. This is the kind of corporate investment that can transform a generation. Sterling Bank is not just banking on Nigerians. It is investing in the future of Nigeria. Thank you, Sterling Bank. Our children will remember this investment.

CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW. The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable. President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence. Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion. We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK. I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice. We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights. A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO

Obi-Kwakwanso (OK) 2027
This is the most anti-Yoruba list I’ve ever seen from a party’s “national” campaign council. It gives an inkling into the kind of government the NDC will form should they win. THE NDC AS A PARTY AND PETER OBI AS ITS CANDIDATE ARE ANTI-YORUBA, DO NOT VOTE FOR THEM!

A young woman reached out to me for support. As we spoke, she sent me her secondary school results. I noticed that she had several distinctions, and almost immediately, something in me was moved. I thought, This is such a bright young woman. She deserves a chance. I supported her. Much later, I found myself thinking about that interaction again, and I asked myself a question that made me uncomfortable: What if her results had been average? Would I have been equally moved to support her? If the answer is no, what does that say about the way I sometimes determine who is “deserving” of an opportunity? I value excellence deeply. I admire people who work hard and do exceptionally well. I also know that excellent performance at one stage of life is not the only evidence of what a person can become. Some people are average students in secondary school and flourish tremendously at university. Some people struggle academically until they find the environment, field, teacher, support system, or opportunity that allows them to thrive. Some discover their strengths much later. Some people are carrying circumstances we know absolutely nothing about. So I have been thinking about how easily we are drawn to people who already show obvious signs of promise: the excellent grades, the impressive CV, the awards, the achievements. There is something reassuring about helping someone when the evidence already tells us, This person will probably succeed. One of the biases we have to keep examining is the belief that people must already have an impressive record before they deserve someone to take a chance on them. Sometimes people do not excel and then receive opportunities. Sometimes people excel because someone gave them a chance before there was enough evidence that they would. I think there is something powerful about being the person who can sometimes see beyond what someone has already achieved to what they might become if given the opportunity.

There is an unholy matrimony on X between the neo-supporters of the ADC and APC, united in mischief and misrepresentation, many of whom were formerly self-acclaimed supporters of His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi. Our dear brothers and sisters, we do not begrudge you. We understand that, sometimes, economic considerations can overwhelm one’s commitment to the ideals of an egalitarian society. We see your new found bromance. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn put it aptly: “Evil people always support each other; that is their chief strength.”. Our motivation, however, is this: when a bunch of known corrupt people unite against one man, spare no effort to ridicule him, blackmail him and assassinate his character, blindly follow that one man. This is precisely why we will continue to follow His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi. With Obi and Kwankwaso, Nigeria will be OK!

Having character like Tinubu at the leadership position is a very big mistake we all must collectively refuse to accept! He has poisoned and damaged the country by elevating reprobates and morally bankrupts who are ravaging the country. We must resist them come 2027!
