With the world looking rather fragile at the moment, I've decided to post a #dailydogwalk pic. I hope they bring just a tiny bit of positivity to your day💙
We have 2x cocker spaniels, so head out twice every day...

Pure class. Proves that if you have real talent and natural beauty you don’t need all the hype. You don’t have to dress like a stripper or rely on a stage show distraction.
This is an example of how to do it perfectly.
Another beautiful day in SW Cornwall. Been doing a bit of lesson planning but the dogs need another walk later, so fingers Xd for a sunset!

Everyone working in education should read this. Early Years children grow into secondary CYP, 6th form students and young people ready to face the world. The very best foundation starts just as Maureen describes. Curiosity. Imagination, respect for others are life-long gains.
i haven’t seen this for years. it’s so lovely. meanwhile i felt compelled to write this recently; maureenhuntconsultancy.co.uk…

“Run free” 🏃♀️
“Climb trees” 🌳
“Play in mud” ☄️
P.S. There’s plenty of research on how gross motor skills improve fine motor skills (e.g. handwriting). And immune systems build via mud play. Why is this not shouted about from the top of the teaching hill? 🤔
Well worth a read....

And a final quote from my mum:
"You can't make a child learn more than s/he wants to, but what you can do is make a child want to learn".🥰

More words of wisdom collected by my mum...
"Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect but you have decided to look beyond the imperfections".
@3dancingfeet @llewelyn20 @rebecca5key @VerandaThought @DHTDurrant 🧵
"Life may not always be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance".
"The key to happiness is having dreams, the key to success is having dreams come true". 🧵
While sorting my mum's house this week, I came across this article. Rose-tinted specs perhaps, but 'cookies and milk' followed by a mid afternoon nap with a blanket sounds pretty appealing🥰
