エンジニア歴27年。いま、AIに毎日コードを書かせています。
27年前の私は、分厚いリファレンス本を机に積んで、Javaを一行ずつ書いていました。ビルドが通るまで帰れない夜も、リリース前にソースを印刷して赤ペンでレビューした日もありました。
そこからキャリアは、Java開発→AWSのソリューションアーキテクト→開発部長と進みました。作る側から、作る人を採用して育てる側へ。書類選考をし、コーディング面接をし、1on1でたくさんのエンジニアからキャリアの悩みを聞いてきました。
そして今は、AIモダナイゼーションのプリセールスとして、生成AIを毎日の道具にしています。Claude Codeにコードを書かせ、調査をやらせ、資料の下書きを作らせる日々です。
正直に言うと、最初は複雑でした。25年かけて身につけたことを、AIが数分でやってしまう。「自分の経験は無駄になるのか」と考えた時期もあります。
でも、使い倒してみて分かったのは逆でした。AIの出力が正しいか、設計として筋が良いか、本番に耐えるか。それを判断できるのは、結局27年分の失敗の記憶なんですよね。経験は無駄になるどころか、AIを使う側に回るための一番の資産でした。

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
