Popular Demand confirms ‘Fucktoys’ theatrical distribution: Jon Leland and Ivan Askwith Launch Fandom First Studio: Popular Demand “Popular Demand will develop, finance, produce and distribute film, television, publishing, gaming and live experiences. The company’s first major release is “Fucktoys,” a neo-camp, dark comedy-drama directed by Annapurna Sriram, who also stars alongside Sadie Scott, Damian Young, Brandon Flynn and François Arnaud. A theatrical release date for “Fucktoys” will be set in the near future.” “We started working with Annapurna on ‘Fucktoys’ because we heard an existing fandom asking what they could do to get the film distributed,” Askwith said. “Fans are constantly expressing what they care about, what they want more of and what they’re willing to support. Popular Demand exists to take these communities seriously, understand what is driving that passion and work with both artists and fans to bring these projects to life.” 🔗 variety.com/2026/film/news/p…

important to remember the most malignant people with the worst opinions are the most vocal and the most online. that’s why this place feels like a swamp. it’s one of the last vestiges of anonymity on the internet. good people exist and while lots are on here, many are not

Hope this doesn't hurt his chances during award season but we found a frantic 911 call Steven Spielberg made in 1982.

vagueposting is a trend because the algorithm senses that you are clicking on those tweets (engagement) to see the replies for context so it promotes vague tweets over ones that explain enough that you can read and scroll past them.
