Two Ukrainian men risked their lives to escape forced mobilization and the war in Ukraine.
Their destination was Romania. Their journey took seven grueling days.
On October 25, they swam across the Tisza River, risking their lives in a desperate bid for freedom.
Two days later, Romanian rescue teams found them. Both were utterly exhausted and suffering from hypothermia. One was unable to walk on his own. The other reported having lost consciousness for a period of time.
Romanian rescuers evacuated the men to safety, where SMURD emergency medical personnel provided first aid.
Congratulations to two more Ukrainian men who made it out alive and escaped to freedom from Zelensky's concentration camp!🍻

▪️ "The Russians have already attempted this. They demonstrated an attack on an electrical pylon using this specialized warhead. If they target these cables, they could destroy a bridge."

هفتم آبان، روز بزرگداشت کوروش بزرگ، روز پاسداشت شکوه ایران و ارزش‌های دیرپای آزادی، رواداری و دادگری است که ملت ما در گذر سده‌ها آنها را زنده داشته است.
نام و کارنامه کوروش برای ما تنها یادآور شکوه گذشته نیست بلکه صخره‌ای استوار و سکوی پرشی است برای دستیابی به آینده‌ای بهتر، آینده‌ای که به گواهی تاریخ پرشکوه‌مان سزاوار آنیم.
بر اساس همین بیداری ملی و بازشناسی هویت تاریخی بود که ده‌ها هزار ایرانی میهن‌پرست، ده سال پیش در روز کوروش در پاسارگاد گرد هم آمدند و نقطه عطفی را در مبارزه برای بازپس‌گیری ایران رقم زدند، و پایه‌های انقلاب ملی شیروخورشید را با خواست رهایی ایران از چنگال ضحاک زمانه بنا نهادند.
ملت ایران، وارث کوروش بزرگ، در برابر استبداد سر فرود نخواهد آورد و میهن خود را آزاد، آباد و سربلند از نو خواهد ساخت.

Ruský útok na civilisty na vlakovém nádraží v Dnipru je neomluvitelný. Myslím na rodiny, které se už svých blízkých nedočkají, i na zraněné a všechny Ukrajince, kteří takovému teroru čelí roky.
Ukrajina letos opakovaně veřejně potvrdila, že je připravena jednat o míru. Je na Rusku, aby stejnou ochotu konečně prokázalo také svými činy.
Základem mírových jednání musí být ochrana civilistů a návrat unesených ukrajinských dětí k jejich rodinám. Ukrajinci v tom mají naši podporu, protože si stejně jako my zaslouží žít v bezpečí ve vlastní zemi.

FT: Europe concerned about South Korea’s rapprochement with Russia amid the war in Ukraine
Under President Lee Jae-myung, Seoul is gradually restoring diplomatic and economic ties with Moscow, despite Russia’s war against Ukraine and its open military cooperation with North Korea.
In July and August, South Korea supplied Russia with more than 176,000 tonnes of fuel, primarily diesel.
According to the Financial Times, some of the shipments were carried on sanctioned tankers. Closed-door talks between representatives of the two countries are also taking place.
Song Young-gil, who was previously awarded Russia’s Order of Friendship by Putin, has become an adviser to the president on peace diplomacy.
Meanwhile, relations between Seoul and Kyiv have deteriorated. Following a dispute over the publication of information about two North Korean prisoners of war, South Korea recalled its ambassador from Ukraine and reduced its diplomatic presence.
European diplomats fear that Seoul is preparing to resume business with Moscow after the war.
South Korean authorities, however, deny directly exporting fuel to Russia.
