Cmmr Anderson: “Over the last several weeks, Sikh gurdwaras in India have been targeted with vigilante attacks incl. attempts to harm religious leaders. The USG should link security assistance to the Indian gov'ts response to violence that stops people from exercising FoRB.”

At this point the State’s action in India is beyond mere allegations - there are video proofs of Gundas on road (with police’s nudge), cover by the police to such cars with sticks and weapons, testimonies of people who have been detained and being treated like this is British Raj times!
So if the Kanoon Rakshak become Kanoon Bhakshak, who protects us?
But in this entire episode - the way police has reduced to a mere kathputli/ puppet of Modi-Shah is deeply troubling.
Amid a ruckus created by right-wing groups near Connaught Place, reporters and photographers confronted Delhi Police personnel who were attempting to clear a crowd gathered around a car.
The journalists repeatedly urged the police to inspect the vehicle, particularly its boot, which allegedly contained several sticks. They also questioned why the occupants were carrying sticks in the car.
However, instead of inspecting the vehicle or questioning its occupants, the police allowed the car to speed away.
The incident unfolded amid the continuing police crackdown on protesters demonstrating against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in central Delhi.
