What narrative were you trying to set when you posted that you prefer a man without good standing or credible grades to become president? A man who, hijacked and wrecked an entire state for his own selfish ambition. A man who forfeited proceeds of drug activity…. Explain it to us, Dokita.🙄
We are gradually setting a dangerous narrative for the younger generation.
Back in my time, to become head boy, head girl, or any prefect, you are appointed by the school board based on your leadership skills, good standing , responsibility , grades and more.
I passed by a school today in Lagos at Oko Oba, Abuleegba the whole gate was littered with posters & banners from primary/secondary school students campaigning for posts.
Multiple posters and banners of candidates saying Vote me for Head Boy, Vote me for Head Girl, etc
How have we gotten to a level of exposing children to such dangerous political narratives.
Who knows maybe some of them that are from richer families might be sharing biscuit, pencils, birds, maths set in a bid to sway wins.
Distasteful that is being done in a primary and secondary school.
Nigerians Must Not Be Abandoned to Disaster Risks
As the global community observes the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction today, we must acknowledge that millions of Nigerians confront not only natural hazards but also avoidable crises resulting from governance failures.
Throughout the country, citizens face flooding, insecurity, displacement, hunger, malnutrition, deteriorating infrastructure, increasing poverty, and the loss of livelihoods. Inadequate planning, fragile institutions, insufficient emergency preparedness, and the failure to place citizens’ welfare first have made everyday existence a disaster for many people.
Although disasters cannot always be prevented, their effects can be limited through accountable leadership, early warning mechanisms, responsible land-use planning, durable infrastructure, efficient emergency services, and prompt humanitarian assistance. When governments fail to identify risks in advance or respond effectively to emergencies, the most vulnerable citizens bear the greatest burden.
The success of governance should be judged not by revenue totals, economic indicators, or official ceremonies but by the people’s safety, dignity, and quality of life. No government can credibly claim progress while citizens are displaced by floods, abducted by criminals, forced into hunger, or left without protection from predictable threats.
I urge governments at every level to pursue a people-focused approach to reducing disaster risks by investing in prevention, enhancing emergency response, ensuring accountability in the administration of disaster funds, and delivering prompt relief and lasting rehabilitation to affected communities.
Nigeria must not accept avoidable suffering as normal. Protecting the safety, security, and welfare of our people is a core responsibility of government. We must create a nation in which sound governance limits risks, safeguards lives, and affords every citizen a fair opportunity to live in safety and dignity.
Nigerians thoroughly insulated from the most severe effects of disasters is OK and POssible. -PO

Imagine a Nigeria where we have men of this calibre on the Presidential ballot.
Donald Duke, Alex Otti, Peter Obi, Seyi Makinde.
Imagine being able to choose from this exotic selection.
Not fucking Atiku and a drug dealer.

BREAKING NEWS:
NDC Rebuts Enugu State Government’s Narrative on Airport and Campaign Office Att@cks, Shares Notification Receipt for Ohaa’s Welcome Reception
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Enugu State has rejected the state government’s account of the October 10 incidents involving its supporters, sharing documents it says show that relevant authorities were notified ahead of the welcome reception for its governorship candidate, Sir Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa, at Akanu Ibiam International Airport.
The party maintained that the gathering was organised to welcome Ohaa and not to hold a campaign flag-off at the airport. It also alleged that its supporters were tear-gassed and att@cked, leaving several members injured.
The NDC called for an independent investigation into the incidents and demanded accountability from those responsible.

One of my wealthy business analysts professor in graduate school said “if you are serious of getting rich and wealthy, you have to walk around the wealthy people, learn what they do, how they do, how they think, and pay close attention to their lifestyle. He said you really have to work on hard yourself than working hard on your job”. Well, read it again and again. So, now it is time to use the remaining 81 days left in year 2026 to really put in the work!!!
This is all you need. It looks simple right? All you need is to focus on just ONE big ideas that sell? Remember if you can’t sell that idea, being successful will be seriously challenging. You don’t have to be everywhere to be successful, just master the act of working with one big ideas or that boring ideas. That’s where the secret of your success comes….

🚨 Lamine Yamal after Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Getafe:
“We won 3-0, I provided an assist, but I still don’t understand how that wasn’t a penalty in the final minute! 😂🤦♂️”
Another brilliant performance from Yamal, but that late penalty decision will definitely spark debate! 🔵

Vini Jr. sees red! 😳🟥
Real Madrid could be without their Brazilian superstar for at least the next match, with the possibility of a longer suspension depending on the disciplinary ruling.
A huge blow for Los Blancos if the ban is extended! ⚪👀

They have started recruiting those hungry so called influencers to be tweeting
“I bought fuel 1390 just now, so where is it being sold for 1900”?
So they paid you less than 20K Naira to be tweeting that nonsense. You will be the victim of that evil you are enabling and God will take you soon if you don’t desist from that evil 💯
If you don’t vote this evil people out of power and defend your vote, next year you will buy petro at 3,000 naira per liter. That rent you’re paying 1,000,000 naira per year will increase to 2,000,000 plus naira per year. That bag of rice will double in price. Basic things will become unaffordable. It is going to be extremely hard and difficult for 90% of the citizens. Many companies will close down and unemployment will hit really hard. And there will be high rate of crime and miscreants in every junction of the road, many parents wouldn’t be able to afford paying their children school fees, depression and suicide rate will surpass inflation rate…and many more. If someone can make citizens life miserable like this in 3 years, think of the more evil they have in store for the next 4-5 years!
Just think about it for once….
