Really, @SenatorCollins is just pissed that voters in Maine finally caught on to her scam.
She voted against Trump when her vote didn't matter — like on impeachment conviction, where there weren't the votes anyway, or to protest Trump's Iran war, because that vote was literally meaningless. But whenever her vote actually could make a difference — when she had a chance to stop Brett Kavanaugh, when she had a chance to block the Big Beautiful Bill, whenever she's ACTUALLY the deciding vote for the Republican agenda — Trump could always, always, always count on her to say yes.
Troy Jackson repeatedly made this point against her on the campaign trail. And she never had any rebuttal to it. Because it's true.
NEW: In a bitter post-defeat interview with one of her favorite beltway media errand-runners (Carl Hulse of The New York Times) Susan Collins lashes out, putting the blame for her loss squarely on the voters themselves; says Mainers lost sight of what matters. #MEpolitics

We can all do the math. So here it is from @ThirdWayTweet and @TheWelcomeTeam.
Dems can model the overperformers or the underperformers. How are we seriously debating this?? Call me crazy but I want to win big again in 2028.

Japan's NHK aired live coverage of the celebration after James Talarico flipped Texas blue.
Their coverage emphasized that he's 37-years-old and the state hasn't had a Democratic Senator in 38 years.

Last night, Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) told me something I keep thinking about: While Democrats may want to celebrate, they need to remember that this isn't a sporting event. This is Americans sending the strongest signal possible that they are in pain, and hurting, and want help. Now Congress needs to answer that call. It was powerful stuff, and if the party is smart they'll follow his instincts.

This is a willfully dense if not dishonest claim that really doesn't contribute to any kind of path forward. Yes, by all means denounce Mike Rogers for all sorts of shit. Don't make excuses for an inexcusable ad and certainly don't make up obviously false claims about it.

The average rent for a one bedroom in this neighborhood is $5,000 so that people can enjoy a walkable neighborhood with great restaurants, green space, transit and beautiful streets. The demand for neighborhoods like this is insane, it’s time we make it legal everywhere for everyone.

Then Trump was impeached, but Mitch McConnell lacked the fortitude to vote his conscience, leaving it to criminal prosecution to do the dirty work, and the Supreme Court instead manufactured immunity despite there being no basis in the Constitution.

Her career is 1000% over in Democratic politics and even from a “centrist” perspective this has been a massive self own since if AES loses everyone will blame her not some general point abt prog electability. But holy fuck this “fire will rise” hokum. Clown show social media histrionics.

No reassurances necessary! Nothing rose to the level for her. What a sleaze.
I just spoke to Stevens and she said Rogers didn’t make her any promises.

Let me be clear: Condemning antisemitism is nonnegotiable, and that does NOT mean excusing or supporting those who engage in it. As elected Dems, publicly endorsing a Republican is a different matter. Disagree, be angry, refuse to vote that’s your right.
