When it comes to analyzing our complex world, experts warn your gut is a risky guide, but when it comes to personal decisions like where to move, whom to marry, or which job to take, science proves nothing beats intuition. Literally.

Biggest problem in #smallbiz is that you don't know what you don't know. Ignorance is bliss, but only for a very short while. Fortunately, Small Biz is also self-calibrating, if you are willing to learn. Better to ask a dumb question than hang on to your ego.
We get this ? constantly. How can I make my biz mktg more successful? How much does it cost? It depends. What do you want to become? It totally depends on what you want your business to be, & where you want to go. What is really scary, is a business with no plan. Happy Halloween!

Bob Ross would have been 84 yrs old today. He reminded us that our lives are a canvas. We can paint anything we want! If we make a mistake, we can make it into happy little birds, happy little clouds, or happy little trees. What will you make today?

We all have more choices than we dare to admit. Some of them take raw courage. But truth be told, we all can do this: "If you don't like the road you are on, start paving a new one."
~Dolly Parton
It was OTD in 1886 the Statue of Liberty was officially opened. Her hat: a Diadem with 7 rays representing the sun, 7 seas, & 7 continents, & her torch where freedom enlightens the world. Quick! Use your head before thinking is taxed and no longer free!
Everyone needs a reward. Everyone HAS a carrot on the stick, even if they don't physically see it. Their heart knows what it is. What's yours? What fuels your work?
You know you are on to something when it is generative. If it leads somewhere. If it expands and enlarges people. If it spawns new ideas. We must make room for collaboration like this. It cannot be underestimated.
Yep- we are pretty much under surveillance everywhere we go these days. Not by the government per se. But by marketers.

We don't always know how it will all play out. We don't know if we are going to win or not. The game can begin anyway.
Discipline and habits are important. What Eliud says is absolutely true. But you can also become a slave to the ritual, and forget why you are doing it in the first place. Keep the goal in mind, and if the habits are no longer serving the goal, be flexible enough to ditch them.
Small business is a lot harder than it looks from the outside. It gets so 'daily', and burn out is real. So entrepreneurs need both of these things: wisdom and joy, to keep going. If you aren't laughing at least once per day while working hard, you're doing something wrong.
Do you practice active listening? It really DOES take practice––mostly just to stop your racing mind. What if you used that energy to listen carefully enough to repeat back what that person just said, to make sure you understand them correctly? Escucha!
Escucha.
Gallup found that employees whose managers always listen to their work-related problems are 62% less likely to experience burnout.
Taking a little time each week to truly listen to your people may be one of the highest-return habits a leader can develop.

Never underestimate the micro change. A one degree change in trajectory can land you in a completely different universe.
Hopefully your Monday is off to a great start, and you are using your head for something completely different.
