I dont think we need a longform thread to stay away from a casino named kweake dot com.
Kweake.com Exposed: Fake Games, Unpaid Streamers, and the Same Old Deflection Tactics @Kweake_Official
I like this page/idea a lot.
Affiliates are one of the best and most powerful tools casinos can use to grow.
Despite this, many casinos will:
-Cut corners when it comes time to pay
-Onboard affiliates under X deal/terms during a desperate arms race for traffic and then reneg the deals/change terms once players are onboarded
-Reveal information on the affiliates deal with their players
-Try to go around the affiliate to the players direct
It's quite telling if a casinos response time when it comes time to onboard a player/affiliate is instant, but then when it's time for payment / there's a dispute, response times decay to once a day, every other day, once a week. etc.
I think almost all major T1/T2 brands I've worked with have been a headache / tried some sort of shady tactic at some point. Ironically 2-3 of the first few posts on this page are about roobet, who i've never had a bad experience with (7 figures of NGR), but i reckon based on my pulse in the industry we will see a few specific tier 1 and tier 2 brands popping up more and more than others.
A bit of advice to some affiliates starting out:
1. document everything, regularly export telegram chats/discord convos. Take screenrecordings off a phone of important parts of the deal (toggle the affiliate managers profile as well to show not talking to an imposter), screenshot the official site confirming you are infact talking to an affiliate manager.
2. Understand that the less reach / clout you have, the more likely you are to get mistreated. Network, dont be a faggot/jeety to others in the industry, they will help you when needed.
3. The bigger your affil book / the closer your relationships are with your players, the more power you have to be treated properly, and favourably -- dont scam your affiliates on deals, make expectations/deals clear and sustainable.
4. CLEARLY layout the terms of your deal - carry over, onboarding packages, admin fees, how bonuses are factored in, etc so everyones on the same page.
Not sure I understand this, maybe I’m missing something and happy to delete if so, but here’s my Kevin O’Leary
avg edge on a slot is what.. 3.5%?
1.1m wager is what, 38.5k is theoretical GGR?
Assuming most engine providers getting 5-10%, but just to be ultra nice let’s give you 20% rev share on this GGR figure - we’re at 7.7k usd in rev in 10 months
So we’re asking for 259x our revenue, or I guess for a cleaner number, 250x yearly numbers.
Hacksaw Gaming at $15B. NetEnt sold for €1.8B.
