Did @github make an OIDC announcements at Universe? I know it's not exciting, but signed tokens would unlock some create security related workflows.
This is all they say about it atm:
GitHub does not currently implement OpenID Connect in its OAuth flows and does not issue ID tokens for users or apps.

As far as I know, I'll be MC'ing again! And I've vibecoded a bunch of Rust since the last TokioConf and can't wait to talk to people who are actual experts about it!
Friendly reminder: the TokioConf CFP is open! Now is time to submit talks about how you rewrite your @rails app to Rust, saved so much on infra you retired. We'll take other async Rust related topics too.
Maybe I should point github.com/morluto/rea at Arc if they're going to sunset it and not release the source.
I'd have a chance to figure out how to add Skate to it then too.
What a wild week in computers: HugOps all round to everyone effected.
Paul Hinze and I were thinking about what help Miren can play, now and in the future.

SELF-HOSTED ORBS!!11 I guess I can finally stop working on openorb now :D
@AmpCode is there a plan to bring the self-hosted orb section to the personal settings too? or is it going to be a workspace only?
Yeeeees @AmpCode team! I was going to build the Linear assignment for myself later this week! And now I don't have to! ampcode.com/news/assign-it-t…
This is 47. It’s 24,703,200 minutes. It’s 27 years with an amazing partner. It’s 15 years of being a dad and 11 of being a dad to two. It’s 15 jobs. It’s knowing tomorrow is a gift and that we should cherish the time we have.
It’s a life.
People say I have strange hobbies and I won't disagree with them.
And at the same time, the era of agentic coding has let me explore so, so, so many ideas.
A perfect Friday example:
One way @AmpCode and orbs feel like the future: in a new thread, said "audit the code base for this old API usage, group the code into areas, create linear issues for each area, and spin up a thread to fix each one" and I have a whole swarm of threads just ... doing it.
I love this!
We've got our own review agent that runs in GitHub and now Amp automatically picks up it's findings and continues to iterate until both of them are happy.
Soo soo soooo great
Amp now gets GitHub reviews, comments, and CI results in the thread that wrote the code. Create a PR from an Amp thread and it will automatically subscribe.
Never leave the Amp app again.
