Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is calling to end defined-benefit pensions for Members of Congress, arguing politicians shouldn't receive special lifetime payouts funded by taxpayers.
DeSantis—who declined his own congressional pension when serving in the House—noted lawmakers already have access to 401(k)-style plans. His proposal aims to hold elected officials accountable to the same rules as everyday Americans.

Shannon Monet Steel, a Michigan woman who was honored by Joe Biden in 2024, was just ARRESTED for allegedly stealing over $1 MILLION from victims.
According to court documents, Steel LIED about being an ambassador, a successful business owner, and a banker.
She reportedly used these fake personas to help falsify documents and steal large amounts of money.
All fraudsters must be held accountable.
