Fresno County Agricultural Commissioner Melissa Cregan presented the 2025 Fresno County Crop and Livestock Report to the Board of Supervisors this morning, announcing a record gross agricultural value of $9,642,283,000. This announcement continues Fresno County’s title as number one agricultural county in the nation.
While this milestone reflects the strength and productivity of Fresno County agriculture, it comes at a time of significant challenges for our local farmers and ranchers.
FCFB CEO Ryan Jacobsen shared his reflections on the report with the Board and thanked the men and women who work every day to grow and bring in our nation’s harvest.
Ryan also recognized Supervisors Buddy Mendes and Brian Pacheco, two agricultural leaders who will be leaving the Board in the coming months. Thank you both for your 12 years of service and for your dedication to agriculture and Fresno County’s rural communities.
