Well said. Also, writing = aggregating & distilling your thoughts Quite often I am writing about something & I realize my idea/belief/premise/etc is not sound or needs more work... BECAUSE I am thinking about it deeply Some AI writing is fine to summarize/optimize/proofread/etc
I find it significant that the most AI-pilled people I know use AI for basically everything…except for writing It’s remarkably consistent. Why? Because to write is to think. And outsourcing your critical thinking to AI is intellectual suicide

To their credit, the person who initially posted the charts under the caption that they showed AI boosting productivity since deleted that post and clarified that it was misleading given it contradicted what I had written

Sorry to all but deleting the thread on the FT screenshots. IMO it was misleading & getting too big, my fault. The article mostly about how big tech strength + labor reductions post-covid = > productivity gains, & likely not *conclusively* AI Article: ft.com/content/7f27aa5f-5994…

To everyone following me from the post that went viral with ft screenshots- I just tweet about regional banks, foreign airlines and random stocks. Sorry to disappoint 🫠

FYI everyone reading: my initial post is misleading, the article is opining that productivity boost is *likely* strength from bigtech + labor reductions and *not* directly AI I honestly posted the pics before even finishing reading bc I thought it was so interesting- sorry all!

This is getting a lot of attention so for everyone seeing this the main point from the article was that it’s likely from tech strength continuing mixed with labor reduction post covid, *NOT* AI My initial post title was somewhat misleading in that respect

$psmt at 12x ebitda seems fairly interesting, especially given it’s biz model should be resistant to any US consumer/capex slowdown

Wonder if $SNCY was secretly doing this?
Well well well: The airline former Sun Country CEO Jude Bricker is reportedly buying is Omni Air International, a wet lease and charter operator ... which has come under fire - repeatedly - for operating ICE deportation flights. freightwaves.com/news/omni-a…

Repeat after me: Markets are not normally distributed. These events are expected over time. Study chaos theory.
BREAKING: Brazil's -19.8% stock market crash on Monday was one of the rarest market events in the last two decades, according to our analysis. Brazil's EWZ ETF plunged -19.8% on October 26th, marking an 8.4 standard deviation move. For context, the ETF's average daily move over the last 20 years has been just +0.04%, with a standard deviation of 2.36%. Under a normal distribution, the probability of a decline this extreme is approximately 1 in 58 quadrillion. In other words, this event should be virtually impossible under conventional statistical models. What just happened in Brazil was *almost* impossible.

Dario think there is a scenario where we have 10% gdp growth, a balanced budget, and 20% unemployment. Insanely stupid take

You Can See Everything was expectedly excellent & still was well above my expectations going in It is alarming & eye-opening to see the psychology of someone like that up close. It is sad, but it’s human nature & important to see Great documentation and questioning throughout

Does the US get to the point where high quality corporates trade at negative spreads to the sovereign?

Oil spiking & tech selling off, meanwhile… -France 10y yield up 8bp to cycle high of 5.07%, zero gdp growth -US 10y yield down 14bp to 5%, +2% gdp growth IMO it’s safe to say deficits are not what are really driving the higher real yield hurdle rate in US bonds

$nflx has never, ever had good content. They’ve had some hits, always low hit rate. Moat is scaled distribution, low churn. They have capital & time to mend engagement, the bar is low. Culture of change. If churn picks up that’s the 🚩 F/D I am long, bought early around 85-90/sh
