This is exactly my thinking as a Democrat. Iβll vote blue no matter who. You could be a leftist, centrist, socialist, or corporatist.. I donβt care. I just want us to gain power and then we can sort out our differences.
Republicans must be defeated. They are the biggest threat to our Democratic Republic. Purity politics that leave us powerless is just stupid. Letβs win first, then we can sort out the rest.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY is touching Black voters and their consistent support for democracy and freedom in America.
The new Congress needs to stop Trumpβ¦but whoever the Dems run in 2024 needs to have an agenda for Black America front & center FROM THE START!!!
Trump acted like he was invincible because people were stupid enough to put him back in power a second time, despite all the destruction he caused in his first term. He developed a God complex and got super arrogant and genuinely felt like he could just do or say whatever he wanted and get away with it. He escaped going to prison under Biden with Garland at DOJ, so he felt like no one could ever touch him or hold him accountable for anything. That kind of hubris can only lead to a massive downfall. Last nightβs cataclysmic wipeout of the GOP was inevitable and well deserved.
My take
Trump spat in the face of too many of his voters. The Iran war, gas prices, and affordability is why this blue tsunami is happening but also American farmers (rural) felt extremely abandoned after the deal Trump struck with Argentina for beef. Calling Epstein a hoax, ICE killings, and a bunch more shit
But ultimately, Trumpβs messaging was outrageously dumb leading up to these midterms. Talking about man-ass and a ballroom while his hand-picked candidates were fighting for their lives.
Joke of an administration joking and playing about issues that are seriously impacting Americans. A well-deserved ass whoopinβ

π΅ Democrats are projected to win the national popular vote in House races by 13 percentage points, the largest margin since the post-Watergate elections, and could flip up to 9 Senate seats

I don't think anyone is completely grasping the shocking depth and breadth of this tsunami election. It will take a while for it to truly sink in. It was a complete and utter repudation of Donald Trump and his MAGA sycophants.

RIP MAGA. You were retarded and bad and made us all stupider and poorer and wasted a decade+ of our lives, but at least you pardoned a bunch of criminals.

Democrats are on track to win anywhere from 600-700 state legislative seats. This is not just a reversal of our losses from the Obama year -- it's a whole new era in building sustainable power, & it's the result of nearly a decade of groups like @runforsomething, @StatesProjectUS, @DLCC @States_Win and so many others working hard as hell.

A horrible, disastrous night for MAGA.
An amazing night for America.

The older I get, the more I realize that most people are living on autopilot. They inherit goals, follow expectations, and repeat familiar routines without questioning where they're going. You can get ahead of 90% of people if you simply think for yourself.

The fastest way to get ahead in life is to obsess over self-education.
I early voted today in NYC. The polling site was full. There was a constant stream of people coming in to vote. Iβve never seen this before for early voting.

One year of hyper-acceleration can be the catalyst that ignites your trajectory.
I've seen students do 2-3 years of work in a single year, kick off a chain reaction of fortunate events, and fly through doors they didn't even know existed.
The first year is the hardest because you're fighting the inertia of your old habits. But once you're in motion, it's easier to maintain your speed.
Make no mistake: even still, you have to keep all thrusters firing. You can't let up. If you do, the gravity of mediocrity will gradually pull you back down.

The fastest way to get ahead is to stop caring about what people think about you. Forget what impresses other people. Think about the life you genuinely want to live. Then work extremely hard to get it.
