QUIET MOVE: Gov. Spanberger's administration silently killed a Virginia rulemaking process that would have protected girls' scholastic sports along sex-based lines — and didn't tell anyone for weeks.
The regulation, backed by the Virginia Board of Health under former Gov. Glenn Youngkin, would have barred biological males from competing on female-only athletic teams and from using designated female spaces where girls are likely to be undressing. Virginia Health Commissioner Cameron Webb confirmed his agency "did not proceed with the proposed regulation," but the decision was made in late July and only surfaced this week. No press release. No announcement.
Critics, including parents and state lawmakers, are now firing back. Former Del. Kim Taylor told Fox News Digital she's "furious that protecting the privacy, safety, and opportunities of Virginia's girls has somehow become controversial."

It’s bad enough that Nikole Hannah-Jones sacrificed her child’s education to her racial ideology, but she experienced the dismal results—and *learned literarily nothing from the experience*.
You’d think she’d be radicalized against the teacher unions and the complacent, self-serving NYC education bureaucracy—which is run by people who agree with her politically—but apparently it doesn’t even occur to her.
If there’s one lesson she should have taken from this experience, it’s that consequential decisions about your child’s future shouldn’t be driven by an obsession with racial solidarity.
That’s not how the NYC white and Asian parents that Hannah-Jones scorns think about educational decisions—overwhelmingly, they simply don’t want the prospects of their children blighted by scandalously incompetent schools.
They freak-out if their kids aren’t getting homework, if the lunch period is unsupervised mayhem, etc., not as part of a conspiracy to leave behind black kids, but out of a intense focus on their duty as parents to see that their own children are getting the best education possible.
Nikole HannahJones clearly could have learned a lot from them.

Back in 2009, the Obama White House literally tried to ban Fox News from a joint pool interview and declared they weren't a "real" news organization. But when Trump calls CNN "fake news" the Left erupts in an uproar? Spare us all the faux outrage.
