It's been over two weeks since anyone donated to my fundraiser, and I want to explain why it exists because many of my newer followers may not know the story.
I'm a 100% disabled Iraq combat veteran.
In 2014, with less than ninety days left to qualify for a full twenty-year retirement, I was forced into medical retirement without due process. After more than a decade of fighting, Chief Judge Matthew Solomonson of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims ruled in my favor in March 2026 and ordered the Army to correct my records by June 30. The Army ignored the order and missed the deadline.
Correcting my records means paying the back pay they owe me and starting my future retirement pay. I'm owed a large sum.
I'm grateful for everyone who's given: the five hundred dollar donations, the three hundred, the two hundred. We've raised over $15,000 so far. But the Army's refusal to follow the court order has put us in territory we never expected when this fundraiser started.
Winter is coming. I need to cover winter expenses and build a reserve. TRICARE is my family's health insurance, and that reset hits hard.

🚨JUST IN: A Pakistani carer on a student visa has been jailed for 12 years for raping a bedbound woman in Bristol. He told the jury she had assaulted him.
• Fazli Qadeer, 25, from Peshawar, came to study and worked as a carer.
• He went to the woman’s home on a shift after learning her family would be away, climbed onto her bed, said he loved her and wanted to marry her, then raped her.
• Defence said his cultural background meant he misread friendliness and that he later wrote an apology and disclosed childhood abuse. Recorder Sarah Regan said it was hard to see a motive other than that he did it because he could.
