This is why I came to Rotterdam: I’m spending two nights aboard the retired ss Rotterdam, and will be doing the ship tours and exploring as much of her as I can. Fun fact: she entered service in 1959, the year I was born! Will see who’s looking best for this age???

Is it acceptable to mention Christmas already? I was in town and popped into London’s famous Liberty London, where their iconic and famous Christmas shop on the 4th floor is already open with gazillions of baubles, decorations and advent calendars!! I do adore Christmas shops

Heading home after my two cruises, I did the British Airways daytime JFK–Heathrow flight. I much prefer this to an overnight transatlantic flight. And fund helps avoid jet lag. Did mean a 4:30am wake up though!

I continued some important research on #NorwegianAqua: who does the best burger at sea? This was my cheeseburger at The Local Bar & Grill included in the cruise fare rather than one of Aqua’s many extra-charge speciality venues. Who in your view does best burger at sea??
Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard dates to 1809. Once a major British naval base, today its old forts and storehouses have been turned into to a museum, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues as a cruise port. It’s a great island to visit and great cruise area. Agree?
My home on my latest cruise: #NorwegianAqua. Launched in 2025, she’s the first Prima Plus ship: 156,300 tons and 3,571 guests. Quite a sight in Bermuda!
A Haven touch I really like on #NorwegianAqua was that different treats arrived in my cabin each afternoon attributed as being sent by various members of the senior crew. What thing a line does along these lines do you most like?
