FCF vs Profits
The gap between profits and FCF has never been wider at $AMZN. One tells you what the business is earning. The other reflects how aggressively management is choosing to reinvest it. And right now, I think investors should be placing a LOT more value on one than the other.

Facts

Cash flow: $META vs $AAPL
Crazy to see $META is about to overtake $AAPL in operating cashflow. $META Market Cap: $1.9 trillion $AAPL Market Cap: $5 trillion

Everyone's talking about $META smart glasses & Muse, but Meta Pay could be the real opportunity. It's designed for secure checkout in Muse, but what if it comes to WhatsApp & Instagram? With 3.6B users, it could disrupt the entire payments industry!

Compute capacity
Estimated cumulative compute capacity by chip designer across Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Oracle, CoreWeave, and xAI across 2022-2025. Most notable are Google and Amazon, where the majority of compute is from their own rather than from NVIDIA and AMD, and CoreWeave and xAI are 100% using NVIDIA. (Chart from The Economist, Epoch AI).

$NU customer profitability is beginning its ascent. ARPAC has gone from $3 to $17, while cost to serve remains around $1. And remember, 40% of $NU customers joined within the last 3 years. If the cohort economics continue to mature, the upside in customer monetisation is enormous. By year 8, ARPAC reaches $31. You have been warned.

Mexico is quietly becoming a key player in the AI economy. For decades, cars dominated exports to the US. Today, AI servers are taking over. Mexico now supplies around 40% of US server imports, with Foxconn building one of the world’s largest AI server factories near Guadalajara. The AI boom isn’t just changing technology. It’s reshaping Mexico’s economy.

Primero customer grab, despues monetizacion via credito. Fuente: JPMorgan estimates y SurveyMonkey. @EugeneNg thank you for bringing this up!

The $GOOG numbers were absolutely MIND-BLOWING. Revenue +22%. Cloud +63% (WTF???) up from +48% in Q4, with record margin at 33% despite huge capex. Search accelerated yet again to +19%. The opposite of dead! Total Op margin at 36.1% (+200bps) = staying lean! Just STUNNING. 🤯

$AMZN earnings had a lot more going on than just capex... A few numbers from today’s report that stood out to me: Amazon’s chips business passed a $20B annual revenue run rate That chips business is growing triple digits YoY Bedrock processed more tokens in Q1 than all prior years combined Bedrock customer spend grew 170% QoQ OpenAI committed to roughly 2 GW of Trainium capacity starting in 2027 Anthropic is securing up to 5 GW of current and future Trainium chips Advertising revenue is now over $70B on a trailing twelve-month basis Stores unit growth hit 15%, the highest since the tail end of COVID lockdowns Q2 revenue guidance came in at $194B to $199B, implying 16% to 19% YoY growth Q2 operating income guidance is $20B to $24B The AI demand looks real. The ad business is still quietly massive. Retail is healthier than people realize. I’m still very bullish on $AMZN long term.

$AMZN might be the most misunderstood “boring” stock heading into 2026. People still talk about Amazon like it’s an e-commerce company. This chart shows it’s something else entirely - a privately-run economy hiding inside one ticker. • AWS - the profit engine powering the internet • Prime, Marketplace, Logistics - the toll road every online seller drives on • Advertising - a $75B machine nobody values correctly • Devices + Alexa + Ring + Zoox - optionality most companies would spin off • Media (Prime Video, Twitch, MGM) - attention at scale • Healthcare, pharmacy, groceries - slow, quiet land grabs While everyone chased AI hype, $AMZN spent years building infrastructure. Now AWS is re-accelerating, margins are expanding, and every flywheel is turning at once. Amazon isn’t a stock you trade. It’s a system you own - and 2026 might be when the market finally prices it that way.
