Easily the show I’ve rewatched the most. HBD to my close personal friends, the study group
For college football having a billion teams, there are like 3-4 good games on paper for the first month.
Why are we still writing this shit?
We know all of this stuff already. We’ve know it for a decade.
My fellow Americans: Please direct your attention to this matter for just a moment. Allow this to sink in. The President of the United States of America just said he wants to ban the free press. He said he doesn’t want them in his office, which by the way is the Oval Office in the People’s House. This is unheard of, and we the people cannot let this be!
For the record, we have a free press in this country. For the record we should all be worried not just about this latest outburst, but by all of it going forward without permission — putting our service members in harms way, raising tariffs willy nilly, threatening buildings and institutions unless his name gets put on them. This is not the behavior of a centered leader who is focused on the good of the people. This is not the behavior of a compassionate leader focused on the millions of Americans who cannot afford healthcare, childcare, gas, or food. This is not the behavior of a man who can emotionally regulate himself.
We should all be concerned — those who voted for him and those who didn’t. The midterms are around the corner. Vote like your life and the lives of others are at stake, because they are. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
I love cheering for the nerd QB. It’s amazing
Some bizarre revisionist history here with Love (not from Nate obviously). Love threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns in that game while taking one sack for one yard.
In the fourth quarter, Love led a touchdown drive (his kicker missed the XP), a second drive to get in range for a FG (also missed), then a two-minute drill to get in position for a shot or two to the end zone, where a pass went off his receiver's hands inside the five. (And where a field goal would have been fine if his kicker hadn't missed the extra point earlier in the quarter.)
Lot of people to blame for the Packers losing games late. Love isn't high on that list (and certainly wasn't in the playoff loss).

Packers have a big game against the 1-0 Jets this week. Both are needed.

always a Wisconsin connection
Every retail bottle of Kikkoman sold in the US is brewed in Walworth, Wisconsin. Has been since 1973. It's the highest producing soy sauce plant in the world. Before it opened, the soybeans and wheat were grown in America, shipped to Japan, brewed for six months, shipped back across the Pacific in bulk and bottled in Oakland. Kikkoman looked at that and built the plant in the middle of the soybean belt instead.
It's the same process as Noda, Japan, where the family has been doing it since the 1600s. Soybeans, wheat, salt, water, six months of fermentation.
