They beat the Dodgers, that was enough for me. Well deserved.

It's cool that the Brewers get to win it in front of their home crowd

How do Brewers fans not feel like they're about to lose 4 straight? It'd be all I would think about.

That first HR off Verlander was such a statement. Nobody gave the Giants a chance in game 1 (or the WS really) then Pablo sends an 0-2, chest-high fastball out to dead center in the 1st inning. Killshot. The Tigers never recovered.
On this date in 2012, Pablo Sandoval became the 4th player in MLB history to hit 3 HR in a single World Series game. He joined Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson, and Albert Pujols as the only players to do so. 💥 Sandoval would go on to win World Series MVP hitting .500 in the Giants 4 game sweep of the Tigers. 🏆

What an insanely cool thing to collect
For 28 years, 69-year-old Rick Taylor has gathered tickets from Cal Ripken Jr.’s 2,632-game streak spanning 1982–1998. Now only eight away, the retired salesman’s 16-box basement collection — each ticket labeled and shielded — ranks among baseball’s most notable. Taylor never anticipated reaching single digits, yet he feels confident about finishing. 🎥 The Associated Press

Took Max outside tonight and found an eviscerated mouse carcass in the garden, early Christmas gift?
Neighbor’s cat left us a dead mouse in our yard which I’m told is a sign of respect in their culture

That's too bad. Played parts of 3 seasons with the Giants. Was unfortunately tasked with replacing Will Clark in 1994.
The Cincinnati Reds are saddened by the passing of former first baseman and 1990 World Series champion Todd Benzinger. Todd will be remembered with great affection and gratitude for his place in one of the most memorable chapters in Reds history. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, former teammates and all who knew and loved him.

This is amazing. My new favorite player.
Yaxel Lendeborg on Luka: "I had a lot of respect for him. But being in it firsthand and seeing all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect." "I was telling him he sucks. He can't score on me"

When the WNBA Finals telecast shifts to USA for Game 2 tonight, a familiar voice to the Bay Area will be on the call: Kate Scott, the Cal alum and ex-KNBR host. I wrote about Kate's journey and this moment for @SFGate: sfgate.com/valkyries/article…
