Oh shit, this piece is 🔥. From 2019, these kids were doing Platform Engineering back when it was called "Technical Infrastructure." * a UX specialist is a must * for large migrations, they send an engineer on site * north star metric is deploys/week GOOD SHIT, read it all!! 🙌

Nailed. Back in 2019 I published a piece about how we did platform engineering at an org with ~1500 engs. AFAIK migrations were still going last year. varoa.net/paas/infrastructur…

I saw this weird phenomenon called "Glacier mice" that happens in some polar glaciers by which moss grows in balls that group and somehow move together. And I thought "What if they were LITERAL moss mice?" And my patrons made it happen. #CreatureDesign #ConceptArt
