Not sure what the uproar is about - Some food that was acceptable to the broadest spectrum was provided. Isn't that being inclusive? When I visit, I try to appreciate what food is provided. Sometimes their cuisine is not exactly what I would choose myself, but that's my problem.
I don’t know about you, but these instances are giving me confidence that the SIR process is going fairly, purely on the basis of the state of documentation.
Yesterday, it was Bharat Ratna awardee and renowned scientist Prof. C.N.R. Rao.
Today, it is Aadhaar architect and Padma Bhushan awardee Nandan Nilekani.
If such highly respected public figures are receiving SIR notices to prove their identities, just imagine the plight of ordinary citizens.
Where will they go? Who will give them justice?
Since Day 1, SIR has appeared to be a highly malicious and agenda-driven political exercise.

It was a pleasure to meet the delegation of residents' groups from #Bengaluru's Sarjapur corridor at my residence this evening.
The issues of the Sarjapur corridor were also my election issue during the Bangalore Central Lok Sabha campaign. They remain a priority.
I have extended our complete support and full cooperation to engage with this cause. We stand with the residents of Sarjapur, Iblur, Muthanallur, Kasavanahalli and the surrounding areas of Bengaluru. The discourse around PM Meloni...all the winking about "Melodi" toffees, photo angles released, smirking about the PM of India's bilateral meetings with the PM of Italy have been frankly unfunny and distasteful. Both the main opposition party's and the ruling party's supporters have much to reflect upon to end this gendered way of speaking.
Why should they? The cricket team has experimented with yellow, purple and green in addition to the blue. If you kept quiet about all those changes, what does that make you @JhaSanjay ? Or is Jha seeing saffron a special event like bull seeing red?
Will @sachin_rt @imVkohli @ImRo45 @msdhoni voice their opinion on the colour of the national jersey worn by our hockey players being changed from the traditional blue from time immemorial into saffron? 100% orange .
