Proud to present my lifesize T. rex head, affectionately named Hannibal. I created this myself from start to finish- digital sculpture, 3D printing, painting, etc. Quite a learning curve involved but very pleased with how he turned out.
Amateurs disagreeing with established industry pro experts on whether a piece of art is AI genuinely sound like “do your own research” boomers on facebook. It’s embarrassing

Seeing younger artists, artists my age, promoting themselves on the back of an unfair wave of hate directed at another artist already integrated into the industry and just thinking "are you guys stupid??"
Wait do people think this is British?? Nope, it’s from Brisbane Australia. God’s country. Just like me.
If you are upset by seeing an artist charge $4.5k for a commission… why? You don’t have to buy it. Just close your eyes bro… Just walk away from the screen…
Extremely disappointed to see just a totally unjustified dogpile on this post by my friend Chainsawroll. Usual suspects don’t surprise me, but supposedly well-meaning people calling out AI usage (despite ample evidence to the contrary) is totally unconscionable. Shame on you.

Not ai, 100 percent human drawn art.
Post shares and engagement are appreciated
Begging people to leave the AI callouts to people who actually have a clue about what they are doing. Your kneejerk, unqualified opinions hurt artists just like AI does. Sit down.
I am extremely proud to present my new art book! Available right now online and I will have them available in person at Lightbox Expo this weekend, table 637.
More than double the size of my last art books its packed to the brim with extremely cool stuff.

After the digital sculpt was complete, I cut it into parts to fit my printers. Done in zbrush. The head was split into 12 main parts, which were bolted together. Gaps between parts filled. The cuts were made to follow the outline of the scales to reduce visibility of the seams.

Huge thanks to my friend @arvalis for some instrumental crits and feedback in the sculpting stage. Thanks also to @NazFX_Studios for some really handy tips for casting the eyes

Why do right-wing politicians always try and seem tough when they’re the biggest snowflakes around? Imagine an Aussie being scared of swimming in the ocean 😂
Every Australian knows the risks of sharks and how minimal the chances are.
Barbaric Shark nets are genuinely disgusting.
Reckless criminality.
Since a spate of horrific fatalities in the 1930’s shark nets have helped protect Sydney‘s beaches.
The nets don’t enclose the beach, but they send a message to sharks swim elsewhere. And it’s worked.
But now lefty green zealots want to take them away.
We should get everyone’s name that is behind removing the nets - and when the first child is eaten, hold these people criminally responsible.
