Conflating a valid critique of the government nudge to get children reading despite the general bleakness of the early years experience post-pandemic, with adults reading a tweet... Good to see you don’t read critically or for pleasure!

The guy voicing the Miami airport livestream is very chilled about all the go-arounds and bouncy landings happening right now as things get more extreme with Hurricane Milton… Needs a bit of BigJetTV energy

Very strong “clocks have gone back without me realising” energy from today: tulips planted, Christmas cake baked, sloe gin started, stew bubbling away and all before 4:30?!

Also, *this* being one of the gotcha moments of the proposed culture of preparedness (you chose to live in a high-rise, therefore what - you deserve to suffer?!) feels pretty rotten to read, especially this week. In what world is it a choice for everyone?

Anticipation & prevention in action by Austrian EM colleagues. Really emphasises the importance of #MartynsLaw in the UK. Also, poignant that in her own words from 2019, Taylor acknowledges the immense security challenge that tours can bring, and takes on a huge duty of care

Desperately trying to find the link! It’s not quite as prescient as you were, but having written about it in 2018 does still give me a small single bragging right 😘
