No amount of budgeting and not eating out is going to make up for the fact we don’t make enough money.

I have such a soft spot for people who bring the conversation back to you when someone interrupts your story. It shows they were actually listening and cared enough to hear you out 🥺

Remember, you and your partner were raised differently. You learned different ways to love, communicate, and handle pain. You won't always understand each other, and that's okay. Love is not about being the same; it's about choosing to understand each other despite your differences. It's learning, compromising, and meeting halfway because it's never you against each other, but both of you against the problem. ❤️

Oh, to be someone’s rest day.
To be the person they choose to spend their free time with, when they could be doing anything else.
To be the reason someone gives up a little of their time, not because they have to, but because they want to.
Because maybe that’s how you know it means something. Not when someone gives you the time they have left, but when they willingly make time for you.

I don’t think people realize how much it means to be considered. Not celebrated. Not prioritized above everyone else. Just considered. Remembered. Thought of. Included. To know that someone, somewhere, took a moment to think about how something might feel for you. What a beautiful thing to experience without having to ask for it.

As a matapobreng nilalang, I got triggered when I caught our yaya doing her own laundry using our own washing machine. So I will buy her a new washing machine na lang para she won't mix her clothes to ours.

I'm at a point where I no longer feel the need to be part of everyone's life. My energy is staying with the people who actually make room for me.

not a day goes by na hindi ako nakarinig ng “ang hirap kumita ng pera”, “ang hirap ng buhay” or makakita ng taong nahihirapan financially kahit nagtatrabaho naman. nakakapagod isipin na people can work so hard and still struggle to make ends meet. at some point, we have to stop blaming people for not trying hard enough and start asking why hard work still isn’t enough to live decently. and more importantly, when do those responsible start being held accountable?

A relationship gets dangerous when someone becomes so convinced they know your intentions that they stop listening to your words.

The most expensive bed in the world is a hospital bed. So lie down in your simple bed and be grateful for your health.

And literally? Malalaki na tayo and we know what we are thinking and doing.
Do'n tayo sa may depth. Let's not please ppl and things that are not aligned with us and most esp, not aligned sa will ng Lord. Let's build our life with purpose.
