A massive victory—the 500 residents & fellows at @gwhospital have reached a tentative agreement.
While we were ready to walk, the strike was averted after 7 hours in bargaining, until GW was able to come to the table with an agreement that meets our core demands.

Yesterday, the HOA Board sent this letter in support of our union siblings in @UMMAP6739 . Michigan Medicine needs to make serious proposals. We asked hospital management to reduce operations during a strike and are instructing our members not to volunteer for struck work.
Show up on the picket lines to support our friends in @UMMAP6739 during their 11/12 strike. HOA members should go during their non-work time.
Do not volunteer to cover for striking employees! If ordered make sure to contact the HOA.
