Compton residents have every right to be upset, they pay a higher tax rate than both neighboring cities of Long Beach and Paramount and their city looks like trash compared to those cities

Marc Elias's name just landed in the "second Dan Sullivan" scandal.
The New York Times reports that Peltola aides, DSCC staffers and the CAMPAIGN'S LAWYERS helped push a retired teacher named Daniel J. Sullivan to run against Sen. Dan Sullivan.
Peltola's lawyers in Alaska?
Elias Law Group, which is now fighting Trump's DOJ to make sure the result gets certified.
Mark Halperin says Elias's firm was involved in the search. That's his claim, and the firm didn't respond to Reuters.
Peltola's ex-campaign manager said Peltola was "definitely aware."

Abdul El-Sayed just UNLOADED on the Trump administration.. He called Trump a dumb bully, Hegseth a mini dumb bully, and JD Vance a suck up.
I can't believe this guy even has a chance to win, he literally wants to abolish ICE, push Medicare for All, which Mercatus says would cost $32 TRILLION over 10 years, and END the filibuster so Democrats can pass anything with 51 votes.
People like this are going to absolutely destroy our country.

Democrat Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign message is NOT resonating with black voters in Detroit.
El-Sayed is banking on that voting block in Michigan, but from what these voters are saying on the ground, that’s far from guaranteed.
One voter even admitted he’s a lifelong Democrat who’s crossing party lines to vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
VOTER: “It’s a first time thing because I’ve been Democrat forever. So yeah, I’m switching Republican now.”
Keep in mind, black voters in Detroit REJECTED El-Sayed during the Democrat primary — he received just 31% of the vote against Haley Stevens.
He lost Detroit outright to Stevens by 28 points.
If Rogers can secure even a portion of that vote, it could spell MAJOR trouble for El-Sayed next week.
Democrats seem to think black voters will fall in line no matter who they put forward.
But that’s not the case with this race.

Watch as Hasan Piker melts down over a clip from The Hill that says he's going to lose his defamation suit against Scott Jennings.
The truth is that Hasan Piker has said so many contemptible things that it's nearly impossible to keep track. The other, more challenging truth, is that many viral clips have circulated that misrepresent what he said, or leave out important context. The lynching video is an example of that.
Being mistaken or getting duped by a bad edit is a far cry from malice.
