This statement of @TuckerCarlson is a breathtakingly bold lie. Russia has about 5,000 political prisoners right now, most of them jailed for speaking against the war or posting on social media. Hundreds of exiles are sentenced, in absentia, to long prison terms. I am one of them, sentenced for a coupe of posts on the atrocities committed by Russian occupying troops in Ukrainian Bucha and Mariupol in the first months of invasion. Tucker can read my indictment, which lists these three social media posts, the sentence for which is 8.5 years. Thanks God, I was out of Russia by that time - there are dozens of people who were not that lucky and serve long prison terms for similar posts on social media.
