Hubballi has waited long enough! Since 2021, citizens, commuters and businesses have endured years of traffic congestion, dust, inconvenience and missed deadlines. A ₹349 crore project of such importance cannot be allowed to become an endless story of extensions and assurances.
With just two months left for yet another deadline, the authorities must take full responsibility and ensure accountability. Citizens are not interested in hearing about maximum efforts or repeated promises; they want to see results on the ground.
The flyover alone is not enough. The connecting roads, rotary arms, ramps, service roads and pedestrian facilities must all be completed and made fully operational.
Hubballi deserves better infrastructure, better execution and, above all, respect for public time and taxpayers' money. No more excuses, no more missed deadlines!

This is a serious lapse on the part of the flyover contractor. How can the CC road work at Desai Cross be completed without first relocating the HESCOM junction box, which is now standing almost in the middle of the newly constructed road? This is not just poor planning but a potential safety hazard for motorists and pedestrians. Will HESCOM and the concerned authorities wake up and coordinate with the contractor before the work is completed? Public infrastructure must be built with proper planning, not by creating new hazards in the name of development. Immediate corrective action is required.

🚨🚨 Major Update Regarding Hubballi–Dharwad Bypass Work!
As per the response from NHAI Dharwad PIU to my grievance regarding the condition of the bypass road, NHAI has informed me that the contractor has commenced work at the site following the post-monsoon period.
Further, to control dust at various locations along the project stretch, the contractor is carrying out regular water sprinkling.
The hot-mix plant is also operational, and bituminous overlay works at all diversions and junctions are expected to be completed shortly.
