THIS IS ACTUALLY INSANE
@cartesia just launched a full voice agent platform, the ElevenLabs alternative i've been waiting for.
you write the prompt, pick an LLM and a voice, connect your tools. Cartesia runs everything else.
here's what it can do:
→ go from prompt to phone call in minutes
→ serve callers in 44+ languages
→ sub-90ms time to first audio with Sonic 3.6
→ built-in turn detection and interruptions, no extra model
for context, most voice agents are stitched together from 4-5 different vendors.
this is one integrated stack. speech recognition, voice and runtime, all built to work together.
ElevenLabs supports just 32 languages.
this supports 44.
SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, GDPR and PCI-DSS 4.0.1 out of the box. #1 on ServiceNow's EVA-Bench.

THIS IS F**KING INSANE
I just tried a browser that lets you run dozens of accounts without them getting linked or banned 🤯
It's called Octo Browser, an anti-detect browser that gives every account its own fingerprint, cookies, and proxy.
Here's what you can do with it:
→ Spin up profiles fast with Templates
→ Create Android device fingerprints
→ Bulk-create profiles when you scale
→ Buy residential and mobile proxies in-app, with UDP support
→ Set a separate password per profile
→ Manage teams with permissions, tags, folders, and tasks
→ Automate with Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright
The best part? You can customise your plan and add profiles or team members as you grow, so you only pay for what you need.
If you manage client accounts, run ads, or work in a team, this could save you hours of setup.
If you manage multiple accounts, Octo is worth a look. Templates, per-profile passwords, and UDP proxy support are the features that set it apart for me.

AI is getting so realistic that nearly half the people in live tests thought they were talking to a real human
Tavus’ Griffin just showed what that looks like in real time
These behind the scenes clips aren't some polished demo it's AI interacting with people live and the reactions are wild
We're getting closer to a world where telling humans and AI apart becomes the real Turing test..
the most impressive part isn’t how real Griffin looks
it’s that it was the watching the room
crew fixes Jesse’s hair and the Ai jokes it’s to make him look “more human” lol
that’s not a script, that’s awareness
honestly very exciting

THE LAUNCH WAS GOOD. THE BEHIND-THE-SCENES IS BETTER!!
Griffin running live while they filmed makes the launch even more impressive.
The conversation flows way too well.
21M views is crazy, and it's great to see how it all came together behind the scenes.
This is the future of video calls, and it's already here!!
The Turing test has always been an interesting concept, but seeing Griffin take it to video is kinda crazy.
We're talking about AI that can look and act so convincingly human that you actually have to question what you're watching.
And they had this thing running LIVE on set while filming? Naah, I would've loved to be there. Between trying to get the perfect shot and whatever was happening behind the scenes, I'm sure there were some hilarious moments.
Somehow I'm curious about the things that didn't make the final cut.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PUT AI ON SET
tavus introduced griffin, an ai model that reportedly passed the video Turing test.
48% of people who interacted with griffin live believed they were talking to a real human.
for context, previous systems had a success rate of less than 3%.
the launch post pulled ~21M views, but filming with griffin running live on set was a whole different adventure.
here are some of the funniest behind-the-scenes moments 😂

The BTS of getting a live AI video model to actually work on set is always the most revealing part.
48% of people thinking they were talking to a real human is a huge leap, but the real story is in the wires, the retakes, and the moments it almost falls apart.
Impressive work from the Tavus team for real.
wait what??
griffin just asked if “that was enough practice for one day”
it either means..
griffin gets tired
or griffin is considerate.
I’ll like to believe the later :)
THIS IS F**KING INSANE
AN AI MODEL JUST PASSED THE VIDEO TURING TEST.
Going from <3% to 48% on "is this person real?" in one model generation is wild.
The interesting question isn't whether Griffin passes.
It's ‘what happens to video calls when you can't trust who's on the other end?’
