Binance has begun recovering affected assets for users and continues to work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace, freeze and recover additional funds.
The company has already publicly committed to cover losses through company funds in the prior announcement.
Binance has already reserved over $6.34B of company funds to cover this incident. $5B of these funds are already held in the exact token assets that were impacted. We are completing the purchase of the remaining amount by buying token assets through market channels and OTC channels. We are doing this to match the format of the remaining token assets and address any asset shortfalls. This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. We will share more progress as soon as we can.
These figures do not include frozen or protected assets, which remain subject to ongoing recovery and verification. Currently, $3bn has been frozen, with thanks to our industry partners. We are working with partners and law enforcement to recover the frozen assets.We will continue to use company resources to cover confirmed shortfall and will provide further verified updates as recovery efforts progress. Ultimately, all user funds will be verified publicly through our Proof of Reserves.

Ponte is live 🌉
Ponte is a bridge between your crypto and everyday life, from Europe to Nigeria, running inside @nimiq Pay.
Most crypto apps stop at "you hold coins". Ponte is about what comes next: turning NIM and USDT into cash and things you actually use, and back again, from your phone.
What works today:
- Swap NIM ⇄ USDT, no gas. Sign once and Ponte pays the network fee. Tested with real money on mainnet, both directions.
- Cash in and out with real people. A seller locks USDT in an escrow contract on Polygon. You pay in euros (SEPA Instant, Revolut, Satispay) or naira (bank transfer, OPay, PalmPay), and the USDT is released to you. Nobody holds your money in the middle. If something goes wrong, an independent arbiter decides from evidence both sides sign with their wallets.
- Take NIM with your own QR. For a shop, a market stall, a hairdresser or the office coffee machine. Create a QR with your logo in 30 seconds and print the poster. Customers scan with their phone camera, Nimiq Pay opens, and they pay in NIM priced in € or ₦, straight to your wallet. Ponte takes no fee.
- Ponte gift codes. Buy €5 or ₦5,000 of credit with NIM and send it to anyone on WhatsApp. They don't need a crypto wallet to receive it.
- Every receipt stays with you. Codes, tokens and receipts live under "Your purchases", and you can find them again from your wallet on a new phone.

I think having an idea of when to be hasty and when to be patient is also very much a skill. To learn this skill takes a whole lot of time and self-awareness.
You know your value, you know your worth, that could hinder you from participating or engaging in life-changing events.
Should one then bring down their ideology for the sole purpose of success?
...but then again those are the things that makes one/us unique and stand out.

Look at this. The CM of @axisrobotics (PL) is now personally DMing users one by one, trying to bring back OG contributors who once dedicated their time and effort to the project, asking them to return and complete tasks for Season 2
After everything that happened, the community's trust has been seriously damaged. Now they're reaching out to the very people who felt betrayed, asking for their support once again
What's even more interesting? The CM is promising to pay users for the work they do in SS2.
When a project loses its community's trust, can a simple promise really bring people back?
Sometimes, the hardest thing to recover isn't the users. It's the trust you've already lost
