The only thing that matters is value to your users
Is the thing you’re building useful
Does it deserve to exist
Are you making people’s lives better
everything else is noise
topic i have not seen discussed enough
grok bot / AI tools are INSANE at DJ track and set management
applying my engineer brain to track sourcing, mp3 downloads, grid matching, cue point setup
insanely powerful
"how can we do this in 80% less code while preserving functionality"
now loop that 5 times
only prompt you need
Huge level up for fomo
Another step towards building the best trading experience on the market
Let’s go 💪💪💪
hello friends, a quick update for y'all.
i'm joining @fomo to lead perps.
i've been trading for a decade now and have shared most of my market thoughts publicly here. to me, markets are one of the purest expressions of human behavior, where information, attention, and conviction converge into price. trading has always been inherently social, and i've spent nearly every day of the last six years on twitter and telegram exchanging ideas with fellow speculators. but still, no one has quite figured out how to build a truly great social trading platform that actually helps traders trade. it's a deceptively difficult problem to solve.
we live in a world where more people than ever are attracted to convex outcomes. information is abundant, access to markets is becoming pretty commoditized, and people are becoming more opinionated about everything. but more information and more markets alone don't make better traders. what is now more scarce is judgment, or alpha: knowing what matters, how the best traders think, and when to act. the next great trading app won't just compete on execution, but on intelligence. a network where people discover ideas, build conviction, and sharpen their edge through others.
most people see fomo today as an app for trading memes. onchain proved just how deeply markets are driven by attention, narratives, and social behavior. these same forces exist across equities, commodities, and anything else people can form an opinion on. what fomo has built for the trenches is the foundation for bringing that same social experience to every asset class. the opportunity is to build a network where the world discovers, discusses, and trades everything.
as an early investor and advisor of fomo, my conviction has only grown in both the vision and people committed to it. the goal isn't simply to let everyone trade perps but to build a network that makes everyone trading them better.
it's a difficult problem to solve. one life. it’s worth an attempt.

fomo web is getting some huge upgrades
fomo discovery pairs extremely live data views, with fomo specific data that you cant get anywhere else
This is a constant iteration and we're relentlessly listening to feedback to improve discovery over time
p.s. The new token mini windows are very fun
lmk what you want to see next
reduction and focus is more important now than ever
in a world where you *can* build everything, and agents *can* run all the time
you need to decide is the mental overhead of having 100 things running at once worth it
its often better to just focus on 1-2 things and do it well
automate things that are essential and programatic, skip everything else
Seems like some of you are beginning to understand this
PnL is increasingly becoming the only thing that is "real"
PnL is a great measure because:
1. its hard to achieve
2. its easy to measure (on chain)
3. its hard to fake
In a world of AI slop, where everything else (art, writing, images, videos, text, followers) is completely fake, on chain PnL is one of the few things we have left
been shaving off ms and bps last couple days

It's been productive so far. might do a long form post about the engineering behind this! i believe this is the fastest way to move money and trade across chains in production so far.
Introducing the fastest crosschain swaps on the market. Crosschain transactions on @fomo now land in <1s.
A week ago, we rolled out our own internal bridge to a small % of users.
Public rollout of fomo bridge begins now.
