‼️ If you haven’t seen this one, I STRONGLY recommend watching it. It starts slowly, but it’s quite interesting view of the AI era.

- You finish dinner.
- You ask for the check.
- The menu said your burger was $18.
- The bill comes back at $19.80.
- Sales tax is never included on the menu.
- You hand the waiter your credit card.
- They disappear into the back with it.
- They come back 6 minutes later with 2 receipts and a pen.
- Now the math test starts.
- You have to write in the tip by hand.
- The receipt suggests 20%, 22%, or 25%.
- Tipping under 20% is treated like a personal insult.
- You put down 20% just so you don't look cheap.
- You add up the final total in your head.
- You write it down on the merchant copy.
- You sign your name at the bottom.
- Your $18 burger just cost you almost $25.
- You walk out to your car wondering if you tipped enough.
All because you were hungry.

Introducing Simlock: a free, open-source tool that turns your machine into a simulator cloud that manages itself, so every coding agent gets its own iOS or Android device, simulator or real phone.
github.com/callstackincubato…
You can now use Simlock in T3 Code. Simlock is a gateway that lets you connect multiple machines to a unified API that your agents can request leases from when they need to test mobile stuff.
Works for both Android and iOS and is a great alternative to EAS Simulators if you happen to have some spare compute laying around!
Faster repeat installs (same app, same device) #AndroidDev #Android
Great interview on the direction of #AI, the hype surrounding it, and a broader overview of where we stand today

Claude Code just shipped mods...
I made one that connects you to a multiplayer Doom server while Claude is busy.
Every other player in the match is a person waiting for their Claude to finish.
I like how the Kotlin Toolchain flattens the KMP project structure. Plugins and feature code now sit two levels higher:

"A developer vibe-coding a side project a dozen people will ever run, and a team keeping a ten-year-old enterprise system alive for another quarter, share almost no constraints worth naming, and most of the advice in circulation is really one of those two people telling the other how to live.
I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.
🚀 Major performance improvements are coming to #Konsist in the next release. Benchmark results:
🧠 Memory: ~30% less heap; leak in scopeFromDirectory fixed
⚡ CPU: ~10% faster benchmarks
🧪 CI: Konsist integration tests run ~38% faster
Konsist is back and actively maintained 🎉
v0.18.0: Kotlin 2.4, companion objects, case-insensitive names + bug fixes
Next: processing your feedback. Got a bug or feature request? Now is the time to tell

The world is changing faster than we can grasp.
Adobe apps rebuilt from scratch via Claude Code. ~70% features working. Decades vs. 1 week

Just discovered something interesting: voice typing made my music sound distorted and echoey through Bluetooth headphones on my Mac. Switching the input to the laptop’s built-in mic fixed it! Keep your headphones selected as output. 🎧

I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.
Found a tool that's quickly become part of my daily routine: Cotypist.
Mac autocomplete that suggests your next words in almost any app. Tab to accept, keep typing to ignore. Very intuitive.

After nearly 17 years, it has come time for me to move on from @JetBrains. I wish JetBrains and all of my friends and colleagues the best success. Thank you so much for everything. linkedin.com/posts/hadi-hari…
As AI makes writing code easier, it looks like we'll need to master many more domains to keep our careers growing.
