Search For Missing Woman: Trenance Park – KZN
Public assistance is required to locate Janine Elizabeth Govender, age 25, a resident of Trenance Park – KZN, who has been missing since yesterday (Monday, 02/11/2026) at approximately 12:30.
Govender left her grandmother’s home at the time and was expected to travel by taxi to the Verulam CBD – KZN to purchase toiletries. She has yet to return.
She was last seen wearing black pants and a yellow jacket.

YOUNG ATTORNEY SHOT DEAD IN ELDORADO PARK
A young Johannesburg attorney was shot dead alongside another person in Eldorado Park.
Police say Nadine Meintjes and a male passenger were found inside a Toyota Urban Cruiser at the Klipspruit West off-ramp on Monday, 2 November.
The vehicle had several bullet holes in the driver’s door. Both occupants had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene.
Police are investigating two counts of murder. No arrests have been made and, at this stage, the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
Netwerk24 reports that Meintjes, 30, worked on several cases in the Johannesburg area, including court matters linked to gangs in Eldorado Park. However, there is currently no evidence establishing that her legal work was connected to her death.
Her killing has sent shockwaves through the legal fraternity.
The tragedy has also raised a difficult question about the risks faced by those working in the justice system. Legal professionals should be able to represent clients, argue cases and carry out their duties without having to wonder whether their work could put their own safety at risk.
For those who studied and worked alongside Meintjes, her death is also the loss of a colleague whose career was still unfolding.
Police investigations are continuing.

MISSING: NOBESUTHU PRECIOUS MBUTHUMA, 42
Nobesuthu Precious Mbuthuma has been missing since Thursday, 7 May 2026, after she was last seen at Life Day Spa in Fourways, Johannesburg, where she worked as a housekeeper.
According to her niece, Thandolwethu Mbuthuma, Nobesuthu had recently learnt that she had secured a permanent position. She was reportedly among the employees responsible for closing the spa that day. Her exact departure time and subsequent movements remain unknown.
Her family has been searching for answers for more than five months and is appealing to anyone who may have seen her or has information about her whereabouts to come forward.

FIVE YEARS MISSING: SISTER SEARCHES FOR MARK HENRY GRADWELL
📍 Croydon, Gauteng
Cherise Owens is appealing for information about her brother, Mark Henry Gradwell, who was last seen on 26 February 2021, while reportedly living on the streets behind the Total garage in Croydon.
Mark, now reported to be 43, was experiencing homelessness at the time.
He is described as having naturally black hair, which may now be grey, a sun tattoo on the back of his neck, a missing front tooth and a scar beneath his chin.
His whereabouts remain unknown. The family is appealing to residents of Croydon, Sebenza, Edenvale and surrounding areas, as well as anyone who may have encountered him while he was homeless.
