10. Decenter religion as a tool for guilt: Keep your faith. Hold onto whatever gives you meaning, hope and connection with God. But be careful when religion becomes a weapon used to make you feel guilty for having boundaries, making decisions or wanting a different life. Faith should be something you live from. Not something people constantly use to frighten you into obedience. You are allowed to have a personal relationship with your faith that isn’t built entirely around “What will my parents/church/family say?”

I’m very transparent about my distrust of black leftists in 2026 who are interracialists, particularly black leftist men. The unwillingness to make what should be an extremely easy choice at the micropolitical level of their lives is actually much more telling than yall admit

What the dating discourse misses is that research shows that men feel more consensus regarding what they feel is physically attractive than women do, and women also tend to be more idiosyncratic, or into niche "types."
You can see this in what sort of facial features women have in video games or cartoons versus men. Women tend to have really bad "same face" syndrome because there's a consensus on what is hot and what isn't that shifts over the years. Whereas for men, it does shift, but the variety is always higher.
Ask a lesbian or bisexual woman what type of woman she's into. I like women who look short and have round faces and kind of that classic feel. Think Stephanie Hsu or Florence Pugh.
But ask a guy what type of woman he likes. Most guys want the Instagram girl with various palette swaps: sculpted cheekbones, sharp jawline, wide set eyes with an upward slant, full lips, tiny button nose, medium height, low BMI, hourglass, wide hips and round ass, medium breasts. It's textbook.
Why do so many men have trouble understanding the concept that a guy can be conventionally handsome & still not be appealing to an individual woman?
Endless women crush on Jack Black. Adam Driver. Jeremy Allen White.
It's almost like women don't require a literal Ken doll to be turned on, and literal Ken dolls can be appealing but aren't always.
Does this tell us something about *male* attraction? Can men not fathom not being attracted to a a conventionally attractive woman?

This is so terrifyingly true and explains why men hate “onlyfans” working women for not suffering enough. They NEED to consume that content, but they hate that women aren't suffering. So they take up that role themselves in the comments after jerking off, then call her worthless

This reminds me of this video — basically the dating advice is for women to dim their light🕯️
If you having accomplishments is too much for most men to handle, you can guess how having high self esteem goes over with most of them (it usually doesn't)

i’ve had this blurb from Ask Polly taped to every desk i’ve used for the last 10 years
My career advice is just do it. Make it. Say it. Bring it to life. Whatever it is. The crazier your idea, the bigger risk, but bigger reward. There are plenty of people who warn, even threaten, to keep you in control. The world is filled with the you shouldn't do that folks. They're not your audience, and the world is bigger than their echo chambers. You don't need their acceptance or permission. Just yours.
