The conceptually bankrupt plebeian acolyte, soi-disant Wittgensteinian, arrogates authority he lacks. Neigh, the sound of his equine intellect.

Less than two decades ago, they moved a new Oga to NTA Lagos, and to make room for them, they emptied the tape storage and converted it into an office. Rain beat the tapes to decay.

In the context of the socio-psychological disparity of the common African lingustical construct, we see the pontification of the Abracadabra deconstruction of the intepretation.🤓☝️

"If I hadn't participated in Olympiads, I would never have challenged myself in a maths class in Nigeria. Not to brag, but I feel I could have gotten an A in WAEC maths as early as JSS3 or even earlier," Mmesomachi says. He urges schools to always challenge their best minds and ensure they don't get comfortable, irrespective of how talented they are. 🎧 Watch the full conversation on YouTube. Meet Mmesomachi Nwachukwu, a four-time AMC national champion, two-time Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad silver medallist, and three-time honourable mention recipient at the world's most prestigious mathematics competition, the International Mathematical Olympiad. Undoubtedly one of the finest mathematical minds to come out of Nigeria, Mmesomachi @Mmesomachi1 has had a journey spanning several continents, culminating in a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, one of Russia's top research institutes. He is currently a co-founder and instructor at Special Maths Academy @SpecialMaths, a premier academy in Nigeria that focuses on the discovery and nurturing of mathematical prodigies, in collaboration with the Nigerian Mathematical Centre and the African Olympiad Academy, Rwanda. Driven by a passion for excellence, he has mentored, among others, Nigeria's first-ever female Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad silver medallists. For our first episode, Zeitgeist Now: The Interview sits down with Mmesomachi to discuss what it takes to build a culture where mathematical ability can thrive. The episode drops on October 1st, the launch day of @thezeitgeistnow.

Comparative advantage says trade helps everyone. It doesn't say it helps everyone equally. Four things decide how much a country actually gains. Read our latest article “The Components of Advantage” from our column, The Convergence. thezeitgeistnow.com/articles…

Your uncle is retarded. He landed at the airport in the city, and instead of going to the nearest industrial pig farm and working out an business contract, he drove 200km into the wilderness to try to rope villagers into animal husbandry. Is that how your country industrialized?
My uncle did a mission trip to Africa to teach a village how to raise pigs for food. They flew in with a bunch of pigs, built pens for them, Food and water troughs, and taught them how to breed them so they could always have meat. Two weeks of work and teaching. They went back a year later to check on the village. They had thrown a giant party the night after my uncle left, slaughtered and ate all the pigs, sold the feeders and fencing, and were really pissed off that the mission didn't bring them more pigs.

“Crucial elements that made them successful” 🫩
This doesn't negate the fact, though. We can't keep comparing ourselves to these countries and overlook the crucial elements that made them successful. And yes, high-trust is one of the elements.

Europeans get taxed because the taxes fund welfare states and extremely strong public services. Can you say the Nigerian state esp in this current iteration has been able to make proper use of what it currently has? Higher taxes in Nigeria is like giving money to a drug addict.
You guys conveniently compare Nigeria to European countries when it comes to free stuff, but you never extend that comparison to taxation, which is just as important to the discussion.

And by the way there’s no Nigerian that’s demanding rich country standards. 24/7 electricity, at least in urban areas is something that has since been solved in comparable countries. Decent road infrastructure, basic healthcare. Life expectancy. These are things that are achievable in our current iteration. For our size and potential, we are way behind our peers. It is not acceptable
Well, true to this too.

A poor country should not be creating the richest politicians on the planet. Untenable. Simple as that.
You can be against the current administration and still understand that Nigeria is a poor country. Those are not conflicting positions.
