With respect, I disagree. IMO, 1 Corinthians 14 is deeply dialogical: twopathways.org/p/the-dialog…
Replying to @JohnDivito1689
Biblically: 1 Cor 14 is the only description we have of a NT church at worship.
But also historically: it's foreign to the Westminster Directory and to the puritan tradition; the Particular Baptists and early Independents had positions on worship that would startle many today.

At Ohio Valley Presbytery’s meeting today and very thankful for this resource. It’s been a regular companion of mine to presbytery meetings since it came out. If you can find a copy, definitely pick one up!
Thanks to @jacobgerber / @PCAPolity / @gospelrefnet for putting this out.

Many conversations will turn up responses like, "Everything is great...we're very blessed...pray for the continued growth of our family." That's fine.
But you never know what else that brief check-in might surface.

A member wants to give on a Tuesday night and can't find the link. The office is closed.
In Shepherding Connections, he texts a keyword (GIVE, EVENTS, PRAYER) and gets an instant reply with the right information. See how it works:

Under this logic, the Regulative Principle would also forbid women from receiving the Lord's Supper.
Both practices, however, are Scriptural by good and necessary consequence of the relevant texts.

You can add custom lists for your households within Shepherding Tracker. I regularly use four custom lists:
Shut-ins (weekly prayer)
Pregnant women (weekly prayer)
Acute shepherding needs (daily prayer)
Chronic shepherding needs (weekly prayer)

As pastors, we want to pray for people. Yet, though our spirit is indeed willing to pray, the flesh is weak (Matt. 26:41b), so that we often forget to pray or forget the requests that we should be praying for.

Shepherding districts (or groups) help to make sure that every member has a primary point of contact, receiving ministries of word and deed as needed and appropriate.

Most churches learn who has been visited by asking the pastor to remember. That works until it doesn't.
Shepherding Tracker gives your officers one shared record of every household: who was contacted, when, what was said.
Free for up to five users.

In his parable of the persistent widow's impertinent faithfulness, Jesus concludes by asking, "Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" (Luke 18:8).
Will the Son of Man find faith in his praying pastors?

Beyond mere forgetfulness, there is another, more sinister reason that we all forget to pray, pastors included. All of us harbor pride that makes us think, deep down, that we don't really need to pray.

Any system is better than no system.
Prayer software can't decide what you should pray for. Instead, prayer software helps you to remember what to pray for, and when.
