Andy Burnham's wife has quit her job to follow him around in what's being called an "unofficial First Lady" role, despite Britain having no such position and nobody having voted for her to hold one. If that means she's now travelling the country and the world alongside the Prime Minister at public expense, that's a permanent paid holiday funded by taxpayers who never agreed to give her a job in the first place. She isn't in government and holds no public role whatsoever. There is no First Lady in this country. Get back to work like everyone else has to.
