Every decision taken by Gyanesh Kumar has now been reversed. But reversing those decisions raises an even bigger question: If his actions were serious enough to warrant reversal, shouldn't there be consequences for the man responsible? And more importantly, what if @RitikaChopra__ had never exposed this? What if there had been no public outrage? Would these decisions have ever been reversed? How many such decisions go unquestioned simply because nobody exposes them?

to the most respected finance minister. i have a doubt. please find time to answer me. you say that the venue for a debate is the parliament. you say that my home minister, amit shah has offered a special session to debate. you say that if rahul gandhi - the leader of opposition, wants to debate my prime minister, he should come to the parliament. ma'am, let's start by pointing out some facts. jul 20 - the parliament session opens. narendra modi, the ever so hon'ble prime minister - addresses the media - outside the parliament. he asks for a fact-based debate. jul 24 - Amit Shah's National Honour Bill is introduced in Rajya Sabha, by Nityanand Rai, who is MoS for home affairs. Jairam Ramesh asks "Where is the Cabinet Minister". This is present in the RS Transcript. jul 29 - Rahul Gandhi, the leader of opposition - asks "why is the Home Minister not here today?". This is also present in the LS Transcript. jul 30 - Rahul Gandhi asks "why Shah is so scared of coming to Parliament" aug 4 - Amit Shah, is seen in the parliamentary complex. at an NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting. He Doesn't enter the house. as per reporting from Navbharat Live. aug 6 - Mallikarjun Kharge, in Rajya Sabha, asks "Why is the Prime Minister not coming? Why is the Home Minister not coming?" as Per Kerala Kamudi - this is consistent with the RS transcript. aug 11 - congress MP Manickam Tagore attacks the absent home minister. as per reporting by the ANI. aug 12 - Amit Shah says to the media, "have been coming to Parliament regularly since the Session began; I sit in my chamber." talking to the media, at around 12:30 PM, Amit Shah offered "If the Opposition wrote to the speaker, there would be a debate from 3 PM wednesday (12 aug - the same day) to 3 PM thursday (13 aug - the next day) this was roughly a 2 hour window to submit the letter. he further said "I will sit in the House; I will listen to everyone and respond to every point." Rahul Gandhi said "We are not interested in listening to his lecture, Who shot those students? Who blinded that student? Who ordered the lathi charge?" this referred to the Pellet Shots fired at the Student, Sahil Lochav. He asked about the Lathi Charge that happened in the protests on July 20th. The Opposition wanted a statement from Shah about this, Shah wanted them to submit a letter to the speaker, in a window of roughly 2 hours - after not being present for 17 straight settings. with no recorded appearance. aug 13 - Lok Sabha sits for 4 minutes. 11:00 AM to 11:04 AM. The National Song, Vande Mataram, is played. and then, the house is adjourned sine die. Both ever so honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah were present on these days. for the 4 minutes. --- Respected Finance Minister Ma'am, These were the facts I have pointed out. I have not said anything that was my own opinion. I have not framed the facts in a way that support any party. My facts were gathered by scraping Documents from the LS and RS portal, OCR'ing the PDFs, then parsing them and then Aggregating News Sources. - and pointing out facts from them. Cold, Hard, Records. I have not asked any questions yet - which I will do now. I am a human. I have evolved Pattern Seeking skills. I spot a pattern here. I see that for the entirety of the Monsoon Session, Prime Minister Modi, and Home Minister Shah, did not utter a word on the record of the Lok Sabha. They were not present in the house except for the last 4 minutes, on the last day. Shah says "He was sitting in his cabin", Ma'am, I don't think debates happen when you sit alone in a cabin. It happens on the floor, where the other side can ask questions too. I don't see a meaningful debate happening in an environment like the Parliament. I say this with utter disappointment. If Parliament is the venue for debate, why did the two most senior members of the government not speak there once in 19 sittings? And why was the one offer to debate made to the press on the 18th day, with a deadline of a couple of hours? Why are there "offers" even? I think it is your responsibility to be in debates because that is your entire job. As you say, "Demanding answers also carries an obligation to hear them." -- Well, were Amit Shah or Narendra Modi, hearing the Questions being asked? They were not in the house even. Please Answer my Doubts. I would be very obliged if you do so. Regards, Sarthak

Rahul ji, you ask the Prime Minister to choose a venue for a debate. There is already one: Parliament, where you happen to be the LoP. Just yesterday, Home Minister Shri @AmitShah offered a special session to debate SIR and EVMs. Why not show the same enthusiasm for a debate in Parliament that you show while issuing challenges on social media? Demanding answers also carries an obligation to hear them. There have been several occasions when you and your party have walked out of Parliament while the government was responding to your allegations. How do you claim to be so eager for a debate when you don’t even stay to hear the other side? It doesn’t stop at walkouts. You and the INDI Alliance have repeatedly disrupted proceedings, leading to entire sittings being washed out. If you are so keen on debating, why not allow Parliament to function in the first place? And then there’s the mock Parliament you recently held at the Congress President’s residence. Frankly, that was more a ‘mockery of Parliament’ than a ‘mock Parliament’. You found the time and enthusiasm for that exercise. Surely, the real Parliament deserves at least as much. You speak endlessly about protecting democracy and the Constitution. But that respect should also reflect in how you treat the institutions they have established. As for the issues you frivolously raise, bring specific allegations and evidence to back them up. Simply throwing together a long list of accusations doesn’t make your case any stronger. As LoP, you are expected to show some seriousness and responsibility. You say, “Daro mat.” Then bring the facts, face the scrutiny and stay to hear the answers. In the House, uphold the standards of debate you demand from others.

Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

A clock company was given a 140 year old bridge to repair. Four days after it reopened, the bridge fell into the river with 500 people on it. 135 died, more than 50 of them children. The man accused was later weighed in sweets at a ceremony in the same town. His name is Jaysukh Patel, managing director of the Oreva group, the company behind Ajanta clocks. In March 2022 the Morbi municipality gave Oreva a 15 year contract to repair and run the bridge. On 26 October 2022 the bridge reopened. The town's chief officer later said the company opened it without telling them. On 30 October 2022, around 6.40 pm, it was Sunday evening and the bridge was packed with families. It collapsed. The youngest to die was 18 months old. A forensic report said the cables were rusted, the anchors broken and the bolts loose. Ten people were arrested, including Jaysukh Patel. He was charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. In December 2023 the Gujarat High Court rejected his bail. In March 2024 the Supreme Court granted it, with a condition that he stay out of Morbi. In November 2024 a court relaxed that condition. Days later a community group in Morbi honoured him at a temple event and weighed him in sweets. Narendra Parmar, whose 10 year old daughter died on the bridge, said, "It is a matter of sadness for us to see the main accused being honoured like that." Four years later, the trial is still going on.

The greatest mystery in Indian economics: You spend 15 years studying, land a job and watch 30% TDS disappear before your salary even hits your bank account. Meanwhile, the local ward corporator, who has no traceable business on paper: Cruises in a convoy of 2 white fortuners, builds a multi crore mansion in your locality, and spends your entire annual CTC just putting up birthday hoardings across the junction. In India, an honest corporate career buys you a 20 year EMI. Local politics buys you generational real estate. We aren't paying taxes for public infrastructure. We’re crowdfunding VIP lifestyles.

Recently, a distant relative I barely know visited my home in Gurgaon. He is probably in his early 60s. He finished his dinner, got up and went to the sink to wash his hands. Why couldn’t he take the plate with him? I was thinking, who exactly are you expecting to pick up your plate? You’re not even in your own house. Of course, I didn’t say anything. He was a guest and older than me. The disturbing part isn’t even that he left his plate on the table. I genuinely don’t think it registered in his mind that he had left anything behind. In his mind, dinner was over. The plate? Someone else would pick it up. That’s how Indian men are trained. First your mother picks up after you, then your sister and then your wife. Travel outside India and you realise how absurd this is. We talk endlessly about preserving Indian culture. But we rarely ask which parts of that culture actually deserve to be preserved. If ‘culture’ means a grown man can’t even pick up his own dirty plate because his mother, sister or wife will do it, maybe that part of our culture deserves to die. Not everything old deserves to be preserved.

My brother and I are being burnt today because my brother did something evil, and I stood by him. I advised him to return Maa Sita, but he refused. But if we were living in today's times, I would have suggested him to join BJP. Not only would we have been saved, but he would probably have been made country's president or at least a governor.

My dear friends, please, I hope to demand your absolute attention to this matter: In 2018, my junior from St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, Dr. Randall Sequeira (middle in the pic), trekked up a steep, bauxite-rich plateau in Odisha to hold a monsoon health camp in the indigenous Kutiya Kondh village of Kutrumali. In a piece he wrote then titled "Kutrumali’s Demons," Randall described sleeping under a dripping school roof in freezing fog, borrowing utensils from a local health worker to cook khichdi, and waking up at 6 AM to a line of tribal mothers. He wrote with heartbreak about treating malnourished toddlers with protruding bellies and visible ribs, listening to stories of stillbirths and chronic fevers, while noticing the shiny new solar lights installed by a mining conglomerate eyeing the aluminium ore beneath the villagers' feet. Comparing his small medical team to hobbits sheltering in the night, Randall worried about the outside forces coming for that fragile village. Randall stayed with the tribal/ adivasi community to serve them. After St. John’s and an MD in Internal Medicine from SMS Jaipur, he gave up every comfort of urban medicine to live in Kalahandi, recognizing that clinical prescriptions are meaningless when indigenous communities are stripped of their forests, water, and dignity. On the night of October 16, Odisha police picked up Dr. Randall Sequeira and Dalit activist Laxman Naik at 11 PM from his home in Bhawanipatna. A gentle physician who has spent years trekking up hills to save tribal children is now locked in Rayagada sub-jail under frivolous but draconian charges (attempt to murder, dacoity), simply for standing with Adivasis peaceful protesting the mining of their sacred hills in Sijimali and Kutrumali. thewire.in/rights/randall-se… Odisha Govt. said it will cut down forests to connect tribal villages. But it was a way to bypass green laws and fast track London based Vedanta’s, and Adani's mining plans. Local organisations estimate that around 45 villages depend on these hills and would be affected. reporters-collective.in/trc/… The state has answered with repression rather than dialogue. In the last three years, at least 43 police cases have been filed and over a hundred Adivasis and Dalits, both women and men, have been incarcerated in Odisha jails. For example, from In March and april 2026, 8, 2026, to April 8, 2026, within one month, 24 people were sent to jail, 217 were made accused, and the number of “others” total 1,140. An activist who was not named in the original FIRs, but has since been implicated in about 12 cases, so that bail in one case is followed by arrest in another. This pattern of capture and releases have been used to crush rational dissent. Dr. Randall understood that being a good doctor means understanding that prescriptions cannot compensate for the denial of land rights, that surgery cannot undo displacement and that no medical can substitute for the basic infrastructure a government has failed to provide. thehindu.com/sci-tech/health… To my fellow medical fraternity, and every citizen with a conscience: a kind physician who embodies the highest ethics of our profession is being criminalized to clear the way for bauxite mining. Please do not let his voice be buried in a sub-jail. Amplify this, demand due process, and demand the immediate release. Please sign in this form to show solidarity: forms.gle/o2Rj2Uu3tXaoWu9dA If anyone can help out in this situation please reach out to Medico Friend Circle - mfcindia.org/

Hoisting the National Flag, even in a prohibited area, should not warrant such prolonged detention.
