Wesley, this level of stupidity from you is pretty much expected at this point. AOC and Mayor Mamdani were exchanging a greeting. You took a few seconds of video, stripped away the context, and turned two people smiling at each other into some grotesque claim that they were laughing at the victims of 9/11. This was not during the reading of the names or the ceremony. Mamdani stayed for the ceremony and met with victims’ families. And if you are suddenly this concerned about proper behavior at a 9/11 memorial, perhaps save some outrage for the convicted felon, repeatedly fell asleep onstage at the Pentagon memorial, including while victims’ names were being read. So spare me the manufactured outrage about two people smiling during a greeting while ignoring the president apparently sleeping through portions of the actual remembrance ceremony.
